4th Gen GB Sound

GB sound brings back memories.. but some tracks are a bit different.

By the way, you can download the entire HeartGold & SoulSilver tracks here.
It also contains the retro GB sounds

The GB Sounds gadget, I think, is a great featur of HG/SS giving the players and the game a sense of the old G/S/C. I use it every now and then when I get bored of the default HG/SS themed music.

I always played with the BGA sound as soon as I got it. It's the best in my opinion. :D

I thought the GB Sounds was a cool addition to HG/SS. I never played G/S/C, but I got to hear the 8-bit tracks of HG/SS' music. The music was pretty good, though.

So that's why SlowPoke well TeamRocket wasn't as fun to fight this time around! Because they changed the music for it.

Nintendo does some weird stuff.

I liked the fact they included the GB Sound into the games. It gave a rush of nostalgia to the older fans, and it allowed the newer fans to experience a taste of the old game.

I sometimes use mine. I mainly use it for those epic battles or wheen I feel like listening to the older versions of the city and route songs. Otherwise, I actually like the new music. It's sexeh.

I think it's one of the best things they thought of in that entire game. I also liked how the guy at the Game Freak building mentioned they were remaking an old game, and how attempting something like that meant you had to please new fans while staying true to the memories of the old fans. I don't remember exactly what he said, but it made me respect the team in a new way.

Anyway. I don't use GB Sound exclusively since I like a lot of the remixes, but every so often I turn it on just to reminisce. When I got the item the first thing I did was turn it on and sit in Ice Path for 10+ minutes, just listening.

I use it when I remember to :P I really enjoy it. I'm currently re-running red and silver but they take soooo long (stuff like running shoes we take for granted now). NOSTALGIA

I think it was a great addition. I mean, sometimes people like to hear how the older games 8- bit music were. I know I liked this addition. I use it for a while to get that epic feel or just because I like the music :)!
