Gen1 or Gen2 Essentials?

    Is there a version of essentials that has the aesthetics of Gen1 or Gen2 games? I've looked everywhere but I don't feel like I have the skills needed to gather and assemble all the parts from scratch.

    Maybe you can use this Gen 2 engine and try to remove the gen 2 features? (I don't know the possibility to to it)
    And then you use gen 1 tilesets.
