Oh man, that was a while ago - before I even started playing the game. We're up to the fourth nation now and the story has gotten really good. Highly recommend getting back into it if you're considering it.

I just updated it today and wow - the game is so much bigger now! I spent a big chunk of my day activating those teleport shrines and it was great checking out all those new areas, That desert section is massive!

Yup! You won't be able to do any of the story there until after you've done Liyue and Inazuma's stories I'm pretty sure but there's still loads there to explore. Sumeru might be the biggest nation yet since there's apparently a few more areas to come in the future.
