A pep rally is a quasi-religious ceremony, conducted in high schools, designed to make the gods smile upon the performers in an upcoming battle with an opposing tribe (otherwise known as "a football game"). The ceremony consists of ritualized conversations ("ARE YOU HAVING FUN?" "YES!" "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"), interclass conflicts ("It's time for Underclassmen vs. Upperclassmen Tug of War!") and a display of coordination accompanied by music ("OK, marching band! Time to play 'Eye of the Tiger'!").

We have pep rallies at my school almost every friday when the year starts. I myself don't go to them though. We get out early soIleave

Giratina agrees with Sammy, and also pipes in that she's hoping it will inspire her to continue writing her various stories, challenges, library books, and webcomics. Giratina has long since accepted that she pretty much buried herself in work and will really regret it when school starts.
