Time zones are the most annoying thing about Earth.
It's the reason why I can't participate in the Trivia Nights. 4 AM ? Lol, no, thanks...

@Last fighter : but that's what I did with Blaziken in Sapphire (my first Pokemon game) where he ended up at Lv. 97 against Steven. xD
 
I think it's 1 AM for me in Trivia. I can probably do it, but it'll be difficult. Lol.

@lastfighter Isn't that called a solo run?
 
yeah they grow so high level fast if you do that y did it in a rom swampert grew lv:100 with 2 others kadabra and delcatty

i did,n know they were already invented solo run charizard rom

I always used the starter only when I was fresh, but the game was too easy... well, except in double battles.

I never make my starter the strongest one anymore, though.

In Platinum I didn't use the starter at all, but had a team with different types, and in SoulSilver Ampharos lead the group.

I'm gonna try beating HG with all cats (ie. Skitty, Delcatty, Persian, Meowth, Glameow, & Purugly)
 
Well, i just use my starter just for the play through. Yes, it'll be my main Pokémon and it will be my strongest,essential and needed Pokémon in my team.
For the play through at least.
 
I mostly go with water, it actually depends on the region. Like for Isshu, i have to check out the secondary types(once they're released) but for now i'm thinking of Smugleaf/tsuta.
 
Now that I realized, I actually go with Water and Grass.
First three regions i'd choose water, and for Sinnoh I chose turtwig because it was the best starter imo.
 
In the Gameboy gens, I always chose fire. I hate Chimchar & Pokabu, so I picked Piplup and that grass type one you mentioned.
 
Yeah, Tsutaaja is cooler than the bacon and the sad clown. Uh, I mean Pokabu and Mijumaru.

Pokestick; What do you mean you USED to make good themes? What's wrong with the avatar you have now?
 
Oh guys, Pokabu and Mijumaru have more heart than Tsutaaja. :(

Though I have no objection to any of them.
 
Definitely choosing Tsutaaja when B/W comes out =)
