Well, you checked out the new cardcaptor sakura, so i'm guessing magical girls interest you some-what :3 You haven't stated they don't, anyways.
I suggest checking out the Pretty Cure animes sometime. They're beautiful, and filled with action.
They tend to have pretty good stories to them as they progress too :)
