4th Gen Getting the games on release day?

    How many of us plan on buying Diamond and Pearl on the day they are released? I'd like to but it looks unlikely as I have no way of making money. :/
     
    oh yeah i am! in fact, ill wake up as soon as the game store opens! and my dads paying 4 it! (yeh, i no im a daddy's girl) that way ill b one of the 1st kids on my block 2 play it!
     
    I just found out that the release date in my area is 4/24. The game just doesn't do enough for me to justify buying both a DS and a cart. I will probably wait 6-9 months and see if the price for both comes down any. I am very disappointed with this game from what I have read. Maybe they will come out with a console game that will be an improvement to XD. If they would just model the console game after the handheld, except with difficulty levels added where the AI will actually battle like it isn't COMPLETELY retarded, they would strike gold.
     
    I've already paid for the game in full. A copy of Pearl will be waiting for me on April 22nd at the EB Games five minutes away from my house. <3
     
    I've reserved it and I'm paying for it with my own cash ,but then i gotta get one for my bro for his birthday so i can knock out his pokemon all tthe time. Most people who aren't working( minors ) get there parents to pay for it because they have no money but if your of working age (16) you can go get a job to go buy one. thats just my opinon though :P
     
    I getting it on release day if the are left and if the ship in time since i live Puerto Rico the shipment will be a little late anyway i going to buy it in toysrus they have good prices and you can be sure they are not fake.
     
    Nope. I probably can't get anyone to take me to the store to buy it, and even if I could, I have better things to spend my money on :\

    Same here, except it's both versions. Just paid the rest off today, matter-of-fact...

    So, in short, my answer is YES
     
    I will try to look for it in stores, and maybe this time I'll even pre-order! *gasp!*

    ...then again, the European date isn't confirmed yet, so there's no reason to worry about it for a while. -_-
     
    No coz I'm live in the UK...but I'm thinking of buying it on the UK release date :D
     
    i'm getting mine a few days after the release day, which works well for me considering i'll have taken all my exams by then.
     
    I'm defenitly getting in when it comes out I already have the money stored for one game already and a month later I'll get the other version. Right now I put away $40 to the "Pokemon Pearl fund" is what I called it

    Nope... I dont think I will get it. I dont even know when its being released here. And I already got the Japanese version on its release date... so yeah.
     
    I plan on getting Diamond or Pearl (I haven't decided which version to get yet) on release day and luckily I have a job.:D
     
    Im not sure about getting it on the first day it comes out in Canada. Because our store EB Games might get sold out in like the first hour or so cuz at pretty much all game stores they're advertising D/P and everyone iz like"oooo ahhhh o im getting that...MOMMY I WANT THAT GAME!!!" So yea. I might not get it until like maybe a month after.:'(
     
    I'm for sure pre-ordering it on saturday because when it finally drops, there are gonna be so many little kids that are gonna want it....
     
    As tempting as it is to get it on release day I think I'll wait a few days. I don't like going to stores on release dates. But now I know what to use my $40 in gamestop gift cards for. ^^
     
    I might get it (Diamond) in a bundle with a DS. So as close to release day as long as it comes with a DS Lite... I still have most of my christmas money XD. But at home I work hard for my poket Money :D .
