Just a team I assembled and managed to get a few wins from my friends using it. I hope it would do good in the real deal.

This team is just terrible for many reasons.

*How are your EVs undeterminable? If you don't know what your EVs are, just clear them by feeding your Pokemon EV-reducing berries so you can start EV training them the right way. It's bad to go into battle when you don't know what your EVs are.

*Your natures are terrible as well.

*Double Team is banned from competitive battles.

*Gengar can't even learn Calm Mind!

*You only have 4 types of offensive moves - Ghost, Dark, Fighting, and Ground. That's pretty darn bad, because any Pokemon that isn't weak against those moves will demolish your team.

Your friends must really suck badly if they lose to a team like this. Want to improve so you can stand a chance against people who are actually good? EV train your Pokemon correctly and get Pokemon with better natures and movesets. Smogon is the best place to start.

It's fine if you want to use a monotype team, but even those kinds of teams need to be good.

I dont really train with any perticular evs in mind half the time, the only time i actualy use those berries is for getting rid of the opposite attack style evs, like getting rid of the attk on a sp. attk pokemon...

oh yea, my bad on gengar its toxic.

and the reason for little types of moves is because I'd mostly rely on stab with buff moves like sword dance for example.

hmm never know double team was banned, what about minimize? because i thaught drifblim could learn that.

Dunno about the evs, Normaly i just use the E4 for training.

and my friends dont realy use ev training, i doubt they even know it exists.

Any move that increases evasivness or deacreses accuracy is banned. That dosent include moves whos second effect does somthing like thast. Also, if you want to train with elite four, you can still EV train. simply get them to an acceptble level for training, wipe there EVs clean, then proced to EV train. After 510 EVs have been givin out, your pokemon will recive none no matter who they battle.

Uh no that is wrong lol

Sand Attack and the like arent banned as you can switch out of those. Just moves that increase evasiveness for yourself are banned, i.e Pretty much Double Team and Minimise.

Guy straight up says his team's used for playing with friends. I don't see where he indicates that he wishes to enter competitive play...

I don't know, maybe I'm out of line and that's the only reason would post their team for: critique in tourney play. But it sounds more casual to me.

Sounds like he wants to use it competitively lol

Forgive me then, I don't know how I overlooked that.

Ah well i guess I'll work on more balanced type teams for competitive play rather than monotype teams.

I'm fully aware of evs and most of the pokemon that give them, I'm just not verry serious about them. If I see a pokemon is lacking in a stat like defence for example I'l go train on a Bunch of geodude for a bit, I dont really calculate their exact values. It just takes the fun out of training for me.

A moderator or someone can lock this now, I've got all the feedback I need
