I've always loved Ghost pokemon and now with the diverse array of Ghost and Ghost subtypes I think I can actually make a decent team to play around with.

The First 5/6 are easy :

Gengar - focus blast, shadow ball, thunder bolt/confuse ray, sludge bomb

Spiritomb - shadowball, dark pulse, psychic, confuse ray

Chandelure - flamethrower, will o wisp, shadowball, confuse ray

Cacofagrigus - shadowball, curse, toxic, hex

Jellicent - surf, recover, shadowball, icebeam

    But its the last one that I'm unsure of;
Essentially I'm short on grass and electric moves, however drifblim has fly for unility and moving around so Im a bit torn.

Drifblim - Fly, shadowball, thunderbolt, gyroball - can fly, has thunder has steel moves

Dusknoir - Thunder Punch, Ice punch, brick break, bulldoze - brings more fighting, ice thunder and needed ground moves

Rotom - Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Shadowball,... cute pokemon but a bit niche?

Alternatively I just take tough/staller umbreon - pursuit, moonlight, confuse ray, toxic, hit toxic, confuse and then heal up while they die!

Any hints, tips or advice would be good!

Its really really strange that I've seen no one using hex on Chandelure in the English world till now!

    Hex Ghost special 10 50 100%
Has double power if the target has a major status ailment.

Since your Chandelure has Wil O Wisp, why not change shadow ball to Hex?

Drifblim - Fly, shadowball, thunderbolt, gyroball
    Fly!?
You are leaving a whole turn for the opponent to know what you are going to do.
    Change it to acrobatics.
With the ability Unburden, acrobatics can be monstrous.

    Gyroball!?
Drifblim's speed is no way suitable for gyroball, it is too fast!

Cacofagrigus - shadowball, curse, toxic, hex
why shadowball and hex on the same Pokemon?
    beware of normal Pokemon.
Cofagrigus has energy ball and grass knot if you are stuck on grass moves.
    Jellicent has energy ball too.

Moving this to the In-Game forum since this doesn't appear to be a competitive team.

Thanks aurafire, sorry it was in the wrong place.

For Hex you need to apply another condition that has a 75% to hit chance in order to get a move that's 150 attack power vs shadowballs 120 attack power (STAB inclusive)

Essentially fly is for getting around - it's the only HM that's convenient to have (although jellicient will have surf too)

However I've rethought my whole plan, I decided to add 'cool' pokemon rather than just stick to ghosts that I don't especiall like (such as cacofagigus) so I've narrowed it down to 7. I'm not sure on Lilligant - while I like the pokemon aside from toxic and a non confusing petal dance I'm not sure what moves it should have.
