"Ghoul Daze!" Episode Discussion

    Here is where you can discuss our intrepid young students becoming Ghostbusters in "Ghoul Daze!"

    My review to come forthwith.
     
    Haha. Ghostbusters XD,

    Anyways, here are my thoughts for this episode:

    Overall: 8/10. Very good for the average Pokemon Episode.

    That's a pretty big word.

    -Takeshi gets paired with some random stranger. Maybe next generation.
    -Hikari has some pretty good senses.
    -Takeshi is too macho for ghosts.
    -Movie 10 BGM is a nice keep.
    -Dusknoir is too macho for anyone.
    -I didn't take anymore notes for this episode. I was too focused on it.
    -Besides these two notes that is.
    -Happy Hanto BGM and silence.

    All I can say now is that PUSA handles BGM well these days.
     
    Awesome episode.. We got Dusknoir, a little demon girl, PUSA keeping the girl's freakish-ness and no odd cover-ups, Ash and Angie doing a victory pose together, Dawn's and Brock's partners freaking out, PUSA using great dub music, keeping plently of silence and 11 original pieces(I think) including the end-of-day music that hasn't been heard in forever the goofy music, and Movie 10 music.

    This episode was full of win, if I do say so myself. PUSA has really gotten alot better with how they use their music. Campared to Battle Frontier, we've come pretty far.
     
    I liked it. I have a feeling Angie feels for Ash, she always wants to do stuff with him. Dawn's partner... Speaking of Dawn, at least we know she cares a little for Conway. Dusknoir rocks. Darkrai music FTW. Ghastly, Haunter, and Gengar... the ghuol gang returns! Good episode, I enjoyed it a lot. Can't wait for the last summer school arc episode!
     
    Hahaha! the gostly tro returns, so it seemed! I really miss that ep with gastly haunter & gengar. ^^ anyway, so Conway almost walks off a cliff. yeesh. I saw dusknoir & was like, will it try & drag everyone off like it did in the mystery dungeon game? & whats with Angie & Ash ALWAYS together & now they have poses together?! O_O this is getting a little too weird.
     
    I actually hoped for a second that Conway would walk off and fall to his mortivity.

    I mean, that would be one less perverted stalker in the world right?

    I don't think Angie feels for Ash, it happens, they are just friends. Angie looks young and he probably is still just 10...

    Oh Gosh, I need to slack off the gender bending.
     
    Aw, this episode was awesome!!

    Dawn: Why do I have the feeling something disgusting is behind me?
    Hah, when she said that I thought for sure Conway would be there, not some buff scaredy-cat named.........errr, I forgot his name.

    Conway: *nearly falls off a cliff, but a giant hand grabs him*
    Me: Sweet, a Dusknoir!!

    Meowth had a pretty decent Banette costume-except for the whole zipper thing.

    When that girl dissapatated back into the "Spirit World," it made me think of Giratina for some reason....

    Loved that part with Ash and Angie's neaarly permanent visit to the Sprit World.

    Episode Rating: 10/10!! Best summer school ep so far!!
     
    I couldn't get on this forum an hour ago and posted it on Serebii blah. I wonder what 4kids would have done at the mention of a "spirit world"? People don't die!

    - I like how Angie's and Ash's arms make whooshing noises when they move them...I wish mine did XD
    - Hurrah! Brock gets the filler character
    - Pokemonic!
    - Hehe they tried to fit too much into the line where Ash gets the medal and he's still talking when Ash's mouth has stopped moving
    - Ash is *really* strong to be able to hold onto Angie with one hand haha

    Ash and Angie at the start line
    Brock giving food to ghost Pokemon

    *ShipDar activated* Now what's the name for this ship? I kinda like it. :D

    Now let me just say that the creepy ghost girl that-gives-off-major-Sabrina-vibes is deemed totally awesome in my book and I would love if she came back in the future to try and spirit away more unsuspecting suckers. And her voice. HER VOICE! It was awesomely creepy (I seem to be using this term a lot today).
     
    Su. First thing first. What is up with so many dubbed titles having something that ryhmes with School and then having the tag daze to it? Didn't we already have somet sort of other title that was similar to Ghoul Daze? I can't remember it but I know we had one some other time during the Sinnoh Saga? Right?

    Still I don't know about this episode but it surely brought back some old times during the Kanto Saga. I mean I don't know. Maybe it is like the first time we got some sort of feeling like how we first saw Sabrina in the anime or something or maybe I just been reading into too much Dogasu. Teeheehee Still this really does bring back memories. I am sure that if this episode was shown with the first fifty or so that made up Kanto that it could fit in a bit if we replace Dawn with Misty and make Conway a 'character of the day'. Teeheehee

    One thing that was funny was Ash and Angie to do that pose together. Too funny. Teeheehee It just looked strange. I didn't know Ash was doing something to stylish. Teeheehee

    The only thing I am upset with was the ending. I mean only Ash and Angie made it to get a medal and they got nothing extra for it? That was so not fair. So not right. Teeheehee I really don't like Professor Rowen. Su.
     
    OH WOW...the best summer school arm yet...I really enjoed every minute of it honestly...and that little girl sounded CREEPY but AWESOME...and vibes of Sabrina did come back to memory...which was great...great to see they gave some air time to all those ghost type pokemon...really good...and I enjoy these few episodes in school because BROCK is actually doing a few things other than just being there, if you know what I mean...

    great episode over all: 10/10
     
    10/10 definetly!!! One great episode and wow Dusknoir was epic...the ghosts vioce was creepy I agree...and Wow conway almost fell....O.O

    But anyways overall it was great besides how almost all of the partners was scared! LOL...10/10 I must say my fav. trainer school episode! :D

    Didn't anyone notice the RSE Regi Cave Theme when Conway was following that ghost girl toword the cliff.

    The music when the "girl makes Angie and Ash come closer" is the DP Gym battle theme hehe, it has a different bit of music before it goes into the Gym theme because it's the movie 10 version. I can't find an unedited version of it on YouTube, everyone edits out the first 20 seconds of the track...Oh, but I missed out the one when Dawn chooses him as the partner! So that's 10, then! Thank you, I'll change it

    OH, so that's what it is! I thought it was the RSE Meteor Falls music but wasn't sure because I haven't been on Emerald in ages. Heh, it's amazing how much music they put in from the games
     
    The DP Gym Battle Music sounds like the remix in game for the Elite 4

    Anyways, this episode was all right. Conway wasn't as stalkerish today as the last two eps.

    Jessalinda still has her nice little group of worshippers from before.

    Ash and Angie are jerks to that Dusknoir, they could at least apologize for attacking it.

    And lastly, I could have sworn TR had 3 members. Maybe he went to the Spirit world too today.... Seriously, after he read off the teams James just...disappeared.

    Oh! I've listened to the Movie 10 version, but it must have been the cut off version. My bad! Thanks for letting me know!
