Gimp Problems

Well, I need some gelp.
I have downloaded brushes for my GIMP, and put them in the Brush file.
But they don't show up, even after I have refreshed them.
Anything else I'm doing wrong?

Making sure you havn't placed them into another GIMP Folder. If not, try just loading the Brushes.

Okay.
I downloaded them;
put them in the brushes file;
there all ABR and 1 Gimp file;
Then I went to Gimp;
Refreshed the Gimp Brushes thing;
And they don't show.

Tell me, what am I doing wrong.

The brushes should be saved to this directory: \Program Files\Gimp-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\brushes
ABR files are Photoshop brushes, they usually slow GIMP down a lot so I would advise using GIMP brushes, which are GBR files. You could also convert the Photoshop brushes if you really want those brushes and they haven't been made to GIMP brushes yet.
