Theres a rumour going about that Ash is Giovanni's son! ;) But i don't know if its true!

We've had that rumor all the time. Strange and unbelieveable to me, Giovanni is only fan-taunted to be Ash's father. Of course, I'll continue to believe Giovanni's son would be Silver, but...

Everyone has different sides to this , so you cna belive what you want and i'll belive what i want... but somehow i think your right about silver! :laugh:

Me too, but I'm always open to new theories.
Who knows how many other characters have red/orange hair. But if the saying "Like father, like son." is true, there is a chance that ??? is Giovanni's son, except that ??? feels that TRs are 'wimps'...
I learned it from my past experience whereby someone was so insistent on Wally being Emerald in the Manga, and it came true after 1 year...lol :P

It's funny, but it seems Red himself has black hair, yet in the video game he has Dark Brown hair. Meh, no real thing anyway. It still links to the fact the Masked Man had all those children and raised them to be bad, Silver included, so we could say Kamon has links to Team Rocket.

I guess it's the shine of the hair that makes the video game Red's hair look brown. If you have black hair like I do IRL, sometimes it may look brown under sunlight. Or maybe Japanese people think that brown for a hair colour is cool.

Speaking of links to TR, I wonder why Kamon in the game dislikes Team Rocket so much. He says that they are wimps, but surely there could be more to it? Maybe there might be a development in the next game? (G/S/C revamped)

Probably cause Team Rocket lost to Red in RBY and made Giovanni run away. And ???/Silver realises he must take revenge on Team Rocket? O_o;

From what I've read, it seems that the manga and the game has close ties. Do the developers of the games go along with the plot in the manga and vice versa? :) That being said, the chances of Silver being Giovanni's son seems very logical. After all, he is the "bad" guy in G/S/C. :)

Maybe Giovanni didn't take good care of Kamon as a child causing Kamon to hate his dad and his dad's organization. Also the fact they were beaten several times by a 10 year old boy doesn't help their reputation very much.

Maybe red-pink, but not pure red.

Wow youve convinced me, Misty is definitely NOT giovanni's sons mom. However i was watching some taped episodes of pokemon today and misty refers to a cousin that she is close to.

"My cousin was there for me when my sisters were not. We were pretty close, but I never get to see him anymore."

I dont know if this cousin could be giovannis son. It is a little farfetch'd.

okay...i'm kinda retching after reading most of your posts guys...but here's my two cents...

does anyone remember the show pokemon live? it was back a few years ago. it was pokemon, but it was a show on stage (and yes, it was an official show). well, anyway, in the show, prof. oak and delia (ash's mom) are captured and locked in a cage. now here is the part that is VERY interesting. Prof. Oak is confused about who giovanni is. however, Delia apparently knows him! Delia confesses to oak that she dated giovanni when she was very young, but as the years went by, he became stranger and stranger, untill one day, he became the head of team rocket. delia dumped giovanni and they haven't spoken since. she then went to marry someone else and they had ash together. now, i personally am going by the pokemon live story because it just seems very logical. i do, however, believe giovanni's kid is silver. it seems pretty likely actually. i can't really guess who the mother could be...but i could guess who ash's father is...my guesses are:

1. some legendary trainer who is insanely powerful
2. he could be dead
3. some random dude
4. now, this theory is a little out of the loop...not much has been revealed about the story in emerald, but i think there MAY be another team that is after rayquazza. maybe it could be....team air or something...and they are trying to annihalate all people and pokemon on the planet and make a fortress in the sky. the leader of the team, if it exists that is, could be ash's father....but then again, i could be getting ahead of myself.
i had another theory about norman's origin...i believe that he is the main character from gold/silver/crystal (the boy, obviously). see, in ruby and sapphire, there is someone in the game that says "i hear pettleburg's gym leader's family moved from johto", or something like that...anyway, sorry mods if i am posting my other character theories in the wrong thread....

Misty o.O Misty is 15 or something, she can`t have children. Maybe Giovanni lives with his wife, only Silver nop.

actually she can physically have children or at least pregnant but it would be bad for her body, only if she really is 14 or 15.

I think the Manga follows the game. However, Silver and Kamon have different personalities. Kamon is proud, has a lot of hot air around him, while Silver doesn't like to speak to people, because he can't trust them at all. They share an arrogant personality and don't care much for their Pokemon's feelings though.
Silver is based on Kamon, and the Manga is known for its many twists that link various events in the book together, therefore it's likely that Silver/Kamon are Giovanni's child.
But I may be wrong, so don't take these as facts. They are my guesses.

1) Your theory of Kamon sounds very logical.
2) If Lance is Giovanni's son, then Giovanni should have been a dragon user. And Lance must be about the same age as the Hero...(because the Hero was almost mistakened for him?)
It cannot be.

Just think of it...Giovanni's wife dies and it drove him insane. He gives his kid to one of his best friends and then goes off to make a diabolical group bent on world domination. He makes his friend one of the executives. Then, he disbands TR...and his friend rises to take over...and blah, blah, blah...manga stuff..XD

If that is the case, then maybe Team Rocket was caused because of Giovanni's wife's death... He must be more sensitive than people think then. Or maybe he wanted to get back at the people who murdered (it's always murdered with gang/mob/evil/whatever people) his wife. Possibly Giovanni had an affair with a red-head, then his wife dovirced him before the child was born... I'm thinking too deeply. It can't be this complex for a Pokemon story can it? :/
