4th Gen Giritana jumps at the screen: Your reactions

umm... hahaha! No I wasn't scared at all. Perhaps you were just really into the game at the moment.
 
Sure, it was creepy and scary that my screen blanked out, it wasn't enough to make me yell or jump.
 
I don't know why but I was really startled!?!? It was funny because when I jumped my brother would be like "Oohh what happened what happened!"
 
OMG Jumping pixels! Hide your women and children! For its shall traumatize u! TUM TUM TUUUUM... :P
 
kinda knew Cyrus was going to get "attacked" by Giratina, so wasn't really startled or anything - I had a headphone and max volume, which was pretty loud though >.>

I wasn't scared at all because I actually expected it it to happen. Since the TC is so picky, I sat there like any other part of the game; not surprised or anything.
 
I jumped.

It came as a surprise to me, and I jumped.
 
I liked that feature as well as the black smoke when giratina changes form. I was pretty impressed

My out-loud reaction to my Giratina's screen-hopping-psycho-abduction act. At 10:00 at night on a Friday. x .x My family wasn't happy. The graphics were pretty good; as a firm believer in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon-esque graphics, though, the 2.5D wasn't as impressive as it could have been.

Oh. That.

Yeah, Pokemon Platinum... Right.

(It... it was such a long time ago. It sort of caught my attention for a split second when it happened since it was so unlike any other Pokemon game, but I have seen better animations on my DS, so it wasn't very exciting at all. I took it in and I moved on.)

IT gave me a bit of a shock because I had the sound on (You know how weird Giratina's cry is) but it didn't make me jump. But if the volume was on at max then and that happened then an old man could get a heart attack.
 
I didn't really have a reaction but i thought it was pretty cool.
 
Let's see Giratina pops out in an instant, my eyes widened, then the screen went black for awhile and I started panicking that my game crashed.

Oh yeah, whenever my DS screen blacks, I also worry that my game crashed.
Since I play on an SD Cart, my games are much more prone to crashing :P

Though I think I had my sound on, so this might not have worried me.

I think the sound was also something that ruined it for me. Giratina doesn't sound frightening, just disgruntled :P
