Out comes the sad, true story that people have become unacceptably unable to tell reality from fiction. The thing that ChrisG14 unhelpfully linked to is a ROM hack. It answers absolutely no questions as to whether they're real or not.

Oh, and more fake art, horray. Please, a more helpful site that gives a better indication as to which trusted Japanese magazine would've put something like that in. There's no indication fo a remake in the most trustworthy of sources. The gullibility of people here when it comes to the Metal Pokémon Generation really is discerning.

Well first off I'd like to say that I have no idea what's going on.

Secondly, I believe CoroCoro said that the issue to be released today had the announcement of a new game, but since I can't read japanese or have any access to CoroCoro I don't know what it was about. Just saying, it might not be so fake after all. Then again, it's just as likely that it is fake...
 
No no no those have Kanji on the cover after gold and silver they stopped using kanji on the cover it would probably be written in Katakana if it was a Remake
 
Didant Serebii say they would release info of a new game onthe 15th?

Well, it looks like the screens have been deleted from that thread. I wasn't talking about the rom hack. But mark my words, there is a remake. You can deny it all you want, but there is a remake coming. When a reliable source confirms this in a few days or weeks (whenever the issue is translated), I'd like you to apologize for sounding like an ass. :tired:

You make me laugh. The whole point in this thread is stupid and pointless. There is NOT a G/S remake in any way, nor will there be one in the upcoming months. Don't expect it so soon, and don't trust some randomly stupid-looking images.

I know there won't be one in a few months, more like a year or two. Just wait for the official source, and I'll be there to say "I told you so."

And now I bring an old post of mine said some time ago in this thread:

It would be great on the DS, and after D/P, it'd be awesome if Nintendo reconsidered it.

However, it's not going to happen, because you're all missing one very important point. As far as I'm concerned, Johto no longer exists anymore on the official side of things.

Johto has been replaced with Orre, and the Sevii Islands. We haven't heard anything about Johto ever since G/S/C, and my guess is we won't so soon either.

I read all of that, but it doesn't make it a fact. I'll be waiting for the official source, because I can't find those screencaps anymore.

It would fit in, however, with the fact that we didn't get a remake earlier in the 3rd generation.

I saw another coro coro scan featurig Battrio... oh snap...
Though it was only that one scan and there is till a chance.

Oh an to those who say its still early: FRLG was announced at around this time only thing is that they dont release games the moment they announce it.Look at DP!A WHOLE 2 YEARS!

FRLG was only released about 8=9 months after being announced.
So no problem of a game being annoiunced any time now/next month/June.Especially a remake for Gold and Silver.

Now is the right time.
