2nd Gen Gold/Silver/Crystal Monotype Challenge

I know i planning on to evolve slowpoke to slow king anyway going to update again
 
I would like to join the challenge for crystal for fire
I started already but I only beat the first gym leader and I've only had a cyndaquil/quilava

Beat the nromal type gym easy

leveld up my pokem to level 30s
beat the ghost type gym easily

Currently heading to mahogny town
Going to kick some team rocket butt!
Also i caught a red gyrados in the lake of rage!

you can have an evve but you need to evolve it to flareon as soon as you can!

-Saved the game in Olivine City

Update:

-Started new game and called myself Ben
-Chose Cyndaquil and name him Cynda...
-Made my way to Cherrygrove and got a Map Card
-Got to Mr Pokémon's house and got Mystery Egg and pokédex
-Got distress call from Elm.
-Made my way back down to Cherrygrove, Cynda grew to Level 8.
-Beat Rival easily.
-Gave Rival the imaginative name "Rival" and gave Elm the egg.
-Got some pokéballs... let's get started :)
-Caught a Level 3 Spinarak and named her "Arachnid"
-Caught a Level 3 Zubat and named him "Radar" and deposited Cynda to PC.
-Caught a Level 5 Bellsprout and named him "Sprout"
-Went to Sprout Tower, caught a level 4 Gastly and named him "Gas" and got Flash HM
-Beat Falkner, beat Pidgey easily then poisoned his Pidgeotto with Arachnid to set up the win. Earned the Zephyr Badge.

-Received Egg from Assistant.
-Got Miracle Seed and gave it to Sprout.
-Made my through Union Cave to reach Azelea Town.
-Went to see Kurt then drove some Rockets from the well.
-Beat Rival fairly easily.
-Went into Azalea Forest and got Cut.
-Caught a Level 5 Venonat and named him "Bugeye"
-Beat Bugsy to win Hive Badge. Used Gas' hypnosis to break up Fury Cutter which worked well...

-Egg hatched into Togepi, nicknamed him "Toki", sent to PC
-Picked up new egg from Daycare Centre near Goldenrod.
-Beat Whitney and won the Plainbadge.
-Got Squirt bottle
-Caught a Level 9 Weedle at Bug Catching Contest, nicknamed him "Stinger" and sent to PC
-Went back into and caught a Nidoran M, nicknamed him "Midas"
-Egg hatched into Pichu, named her "Sparky" and sent her to the box (going to use as Flash Slave)
-Trained Midas to Level 16 and he evolved into Nidorino.
-Sprout evolved to Weepinbell
-Radar evolved to Golbat
-Arachnid evolved to Ariados
-Beat Morty and earned the Fogbadge

Another Update for you all:
-Got HM04 and taught it to Midas
-Caught Krabby (for dex) and traded it for a Voltorb named "Volty" (for dex) and sent to PC
-Caught Poliwag as Surf slave, and nicknamed her "Swirl". Sent to PC
-Saw Entei! But... he fled :(
-Got to top of lighthouse, and was asked to be errand boy and get some medicine... I accepted. What can I say? I'm a sucker for a pretty face.
-Surfed to Cianwood and took a boys Shuckle ("Shuckie"). Sent her to PC
-Got Medicine for Jasmine.
-Beat Chuck and earned the Storm Badge
-In the process, Gas evolved to Haunter
-Delivered Medicine and Jasmine returned to her Gym.
-Grinded everyone to Level 30
-Radar evolved to Crobat
-Beat Jasmine to earn Mineralbadge.
