I just don't see how they could make Leaf come off as a badass, so no. However I could see her, Agatha, and Lorelei appearing as frontier brains.

I don't even see why leaf would be the end challenge. There is really no reason at all to have her.

Red was in g/s/c. Leaf wasnt.

what makes people so sure that leaf is the female character from fire red and leaf green when in the old gold and silver blue was the rival character from red and blue (gary) and he was the gym leader for viridian city

Leaf is the female counterpart to Red in FireRed and LeafGreen. Blue/Gary is the gym leader of Viridean's gym. I would prefer to battle Red. I wouldn't mind seeing Leaf somewhere else as long as I can battle Red again.

there's absolutely no way that the leaf green girl will be the final boss.... if not, it wouldn't be a remake

What if (just a thought) for some special reason you had the option to do a double battle with both Red and Leaf? You still battle Red on Mt. Silver but in a different area a double battle?

But most of us care about that. We really want to fight red. It should not be leaf or anybody else but only red!

I remember owning Red when I had my Gameboy. (Which is dumped to the Trash Can by now.) So I would really expect him to be in Mt. Sliver so that I can own him yet again.

At the end of the day, its gonna end up with Red, as its a REMAKE. There is a chance that they may put in leaf/green (watever her name is), but that'll mean two teams to fight instead of one.
