Yes, but your post had every detail of what was going on. Not even the wise one really knows what's going on, and that was several years before the actual time of the RPG. Besides, the Wise One doesn't keep in so much contact with everyone; his champions were Isaac and Garet, so he really doesn't interact with anyone else. But yes, we all start in the league.

So no animal partner? I say this because there really won't be time throughout the RP to obtain one; it's just easier to have done so already than to devote story time to that.

Not being a stubborn person or anything, but...I believe the last time I checked, warriors wielded Swords and axes, Mages; staffs and rod like maces...

What I'm trying to say is that Uzumaki, your Char shouldn't be holding sword.
 
Hahah... If you didn't notice, certain mages can also wield LIGHT Blades... as clarified in my post of my weapon being a light blade... in the end... it all comes down to the opinion of Kamotz.... hahaha... though I do believe I am correct...
 
Yes, the mage-type characters in the games (at least Jenna and Ivan) could use light blades, however I'd prefer for all mage-types to have a rod/staff/mace/long-handled weapon, at least for the beginning.
 
Yeah, It'd be best if you stuck to the original, canon attacks most of the time, but I have no problem with the occasional new attack. It makes sense storywise; with the broken seal on Alchemy, there is more room for development/discovery of new psynergy.
 
Aw pooey... XD Hehe... Rathialos Fang is going to have to wait its turn later... ^^; I'll make a new wand since I've nothing to do... but later cause I'm only on my PSP... XD
 
hmmm... i might be willing to try some new psynergy. but i need some time to think up some. the problem is i try to make neutral powers and only some elemented so ya. give me about 1 week maybe 2 at tops and ill have atleast 5 or 6 new ones.

I only asked because there are no defensive mercury psynergies. So I was just thinking of techniques like "Crystal skin" kind of thing. If you want, kamotz, I can write down the psynergies I'd like to have (I can learn them during the RP because most of them are bound to be deemed 'over-powered' however I wouldn't have the efefcts to be godly, and only short durations y'know?) in my profile and you can check em' out?
 
If you want to put them down, then that's fine. But I'm not too concerned. Just remember to keep everything within the limits of the games, and that'll be fine.
 
so any ideas of how to start? there are a couple of senarios to consider with the start.

1) we all leave the league to train in the outside world, like near our respective lighthouses or something, non-hostile start

2) we are attacked by one of the "evil four" and with all the adepts at the league barely manage to beat he/she, hostile start

just to say its entirely up to kamotz but i do get some good story ideas on the fly.
 
Well, I do remember that there were light blades...but Rathalios looks like an earth Smasher!!! Anyway...

I have a feeling we might not be getting new Adepts for a while.
 
Uh... can I approve of a Phoenix for now? I'll do everything for it after I finish class.... but that's if you approve... (I can't think of any other good fire creatures... XP )
 
No, a phoenix is a mythical creature. The point of animal partners is normal creatures (found in OUR world) that become adepts.

EDIT: to respond to questions on how this will start.

We won't learn about the 4 "Anathema" Adepts for a while; the 8 "legendary" adepts (those from the games) will investigate those happenings while we're sent to deal with lower-priority cases (which ultimately connect to the grand scheme of the Anathema). Certain things will happen, and our characters will take center stage in the investigation/quest to stop these new baddies.
