I might try it, but it looks pretty naff.

I'm game to test it. it looks neat. I'm just wondering how fast that new V8 feature really is compared to regular browser Java.

Only Google could announce a browser the day before they release it to public and still have hype, seriously. 8|

I'll definitely be downloading this once a link goes up but I can't imagine I'll like it enough to main it or anything. It'll probably be just another browser for me to test with and to use as an alternate. I am interested in seeing how it will be received though, as well as seeing how Google plans to set it apart from the competition.

I can't wait to try it, Google has yet to fail me with their products.

Also, I was checking out the Wikipedia Article, and it mentioned something about Chrome being build upon Firefox and Webkit. How awesome is that going to make this? :p

Hurry up Google! I want it D:<

Yeah, it looks a bit ugly.

I'm wondering how it'll fit into the OSX environment when it's released.

Looks cutely plain...I'll check it out, want to know if it's pretty is better than it's content.

Oh my. I'm using it now and (for me) it's faster with loading pages than Firefox ever was and the scrolling of it is absolutely brilliant. It has aspects of both Firefox and Safari in it as well which is exciting because I've always wanted to resize text input boxes on Firefox but never could.

    Its somewhat annoying at first to use, but it's much faster than Internet Explorer when I ran them side by side. It handles all the CSS that Firefox can handle, which is a plus. Funny, its already better than Internet Explorer XD;;
Firefox still loads pages faster, but not by much ^.^

    Just downloaded it! It ROX!!!

surprisingly I like it slightly better than Firefox for Windows. I'll have to see what kind of a job they do on a Mac version before swaying from Safari. (if they somehow are able to integrate the Mac gestures like safari has that would give it a big jump in my book)

Just downloaded it and gave it a try.

I think I'll need some more time before I start using it on any regular basis. Maybe I'm just used to my FF being cluttered, but I'm not used to having so much ROOM, haha. @__@ But that's more a nitpick over the style than anything else. Plus I don't like how it seemed to be slow with loading images for me...unless that was just my connection, but I doubt it since images load instantly in FF.

Still, considering it did just come out, I still think it's decent. (b'-')b Just not something I'd use for a bit longer, most likely.

(The fact of having no adblock started bugging me the moment I realized it. >_< )

The adblock thing hit me as soon as I started using it too.

It's really fast, I'll give it that. Not a big fan of the plain, barebones interface or the lack of extensions. There's also a really stunning lack of options/customability, but it's not bad for a new browser.

I'm still going to mainly use Firefox, although I think that I might use Chrome as a side browser sometimes.

yes, been messing with it as well.. its quite fast and I personally like the lean interface.. It has some neat built-in features like an element inspector (similar to FF's firebug plugin) as well as a task mgr.

Note: For all you webmasters here, there is also a chrome topic in the webby's forum

I use Safari for quick browsing (Or when I go on PC). Not for long lasting hours. And if this isn't that good, i'll use it for that too.

Edit: Lol! On the task manager, it says "Stats for Nerds", linking to the memory.

It also has a "Incognito Mode" ...Weird name.
    Google said:
Browsing in incognito mode only keeps Google Chrome from storing information about the websites you've visited. The websites you visit may still have records of your visit. Any files saved to your computer will still remain on your computer.

Example: If you sign into your Google Account on https://www.google.com while in incognito mode, your subsequent web searches are recorded in your Google Web History. In this case, if you want to make sure your searches are not stored in your Google Account, you'll need to pause your Google Web History tracking.

Hmm, maybe I will check it out. I wonder if they will have a bookmark section to save your links you saved. It looks pretty cool. But since Google is the best web search engine of all time, they might have a winner there with their own browser. ^^ I will wait til the finished version comes out.
