Graphics Resources

Hey, I was just wondering. If I wanted to add graphics resources to my web site, such as sugimori art, sprites, etc. The official Nintendo ones, where would I be able to get them from without breaking any laws or copyrights?

Also with no link backs etc, dose anyone know?

I'd say a small watermark on the images, or a simple copyright at the bottom of the page should do.

Then again, I'm not legal expert.

I'm sorry, I misread. PE2K has them, and I'm pretty sure they're usable. (*image removed*)

Try PMing Matthew if you want some of the characters. His old site had a lot of the characters on it.

I am mainly looking for the Pokemon art at the moment, however the characters will be added eventually. So I am allowed to use PE2K sugimori?

I cant seen no problems as its a copyright to Pokemon/Nintendo, and PE2K must of got them from somewhere so...Its okay right?

But you should probably link back to Nintendo in some sort of copyright section, just in case. :P

PE2K stole all of the Sugimori art they have from my site, and when confronted, refused to provide credit or take them down. People don't know how to get their own content. :/

You can't really steal sugimori art from websites, I guess. They are created by Nintendo/Pokemon. They must have been origonally been upload by Nintendo or Pokemon, so you can't really steal them.

Unless edits and changes where made, but I want the origonals anyways. Your website is Pokebeach right?

Yes, it is. And yes, every image is edited for transparency by me, with some small edits (marks / changes) that let me see who steals them. :p
