Grasping for the Light: A Teen Titans Roleplay

By now, I had found the person tracking me down, and just watched, ready to bolt. I could feel a low growl in my throat, but silenced myself, and simply occupied myself with thoughts of my giant saber teeth ripping through his throat...

saphiras heart raced there was someone there

Psycho stood against the wall in the shadows, just enough to be hidden from the view of the others. "I know what you're planning to do, you and the others," Psycho telepathically spoke to the closest one, a girl with bluish clothes. "And, you see, I'm going to have to stop you, so I'd give up right now before anyone gets hurt."

Looking around from the rooftop, I calmed my mind, trying to bring my senses to thir finest. It was unlikely that whatever I had seen had vacated the area and was concievably still a threat.

Getting impaitent, I hopped up several items to land on the same rooftop the boy was on. <I assume you're looking for me?> I said in thought speech.

"yeah, right. i`m gonna give up. i dont think so" saphira answered. she waited for the boy to make the first move, giving her time to prepare an ice blast...

Psycho could see what the girl was planning. He stepped forward, teasing the girl. Focusing his energy, he teleported behind her, ready to strike from behind.

saphira jumped landind on an exibt. her ice blast was ready and she shot a powerful blast of ice at him...

"Why yes, I would be." I said, not turning to face whatever it was. My face might have belied a bit of nervousness, no matter how I tried to compose it. "Might I ask who you are?" I finished.

saphira crouched. ready to move if nessicary...

He easily evaded the attack with his teleportation powers and watched as the class case that had been behind him a moment ago crashed to pieces. <Hehe, its almost amusing to watch your pitiful attempts to strike me> he spoke to her telepathically.

saphiras eyes narrowed. she jumped off the glass box just before it broke. she dashed into the shadows reappearing behind him...

ooc: da_green_teddy... plz dont make yourself invincable...

OOC:sorry, I try not to:D

Psycho became overconfident and tried to step out of her way, but was hit from somewhere in the shadows in the arm. It went cold, colder than ice, and fell heavily to his side. He was temporarily impared, but he could still take this girl; couldn't he?

ooc: thanks! see im not all to strong but i gotta hit someone sometimes, right?

ic: saphira smiled with satifaction. she had finally managed to hit him. saphira then retreated back to the shadows, getting ready to attack at random...

Psycho snarled. He tried to sense her in the shadows.<Come out of there and fight me, unless you're too scared> he thought-spoke to her, trying to hide his own nervousness. I won't back down, I'm going to win this, no matter what he told himself, but his confidence was dropping. He let out a cry of rage and blindly threw a purple beam into the shadows, hoping it would hit the girl.

saphira was hit by the purple blast. "oof." she said and fell to her knee. saphira weakly got up, and positioned herself to attack...

<well, now we're both injured.> He thought spoke to her, chuckling a bit. <Neither of us are going to win this at this rate. Maybe we chould just both give up.> He rose his hand a little, just in case he nedded to quickly attack her. She didn't seem like the type to just give up so easily.

saphira didnt know if this was a trick. she stayed in her attack position, ready for anything.

<Just know me as everybody's personal nightmare> I said, sitting down. my feline abilities would still make me fast enough to dodge or strike..

"If you choose to believe so" I shot back arrogantly. "I've seen worse than you can imagine" I continued, slowly shifting my hand to the handle of my blade, knowing that the action wouldn't go unnoticed.
