Grasping for the Light: A Teen Titans Roleplay

OOC: Yeah... I know. o.O;

IC: She sent a small wave to the girl, and then-
"Maybe." Illusion said calmly as she finished up the dessert, and stood up, pushing her stool back into it's place.
"Thanks for the... Ice cream." She remembered to thank the other girl as she stepped out into the streets, which now, were dark, as day began to fade...
Without another word, she blended into the night, leaving for her rather crude home in the abandoned allyway.

After Elie finished her sundae she glanced at her watch and a frown instantly replaced the smile on her face. Night...already? she thought sadly.

She didn't want to go home, she was going to adapt to the changes, and she knew that, but she felt lonely being alone in their house. She sighed as she made her way back to her house, and like always someone accidentaly touches her...leading him in a comma. She opened the door to their house and rushed to the couch. She turned on the television afterwards. She had done all her chores, homework, everything.

Sighing once more, she stared at the television but in her mind, she could see the memories of others'... seeing their childhood...their present lives, everything.

"Nee-san..." she mumbled as her eyes slowly closed.

Once in the allyway, she carefully climbed up the broken ladder that led to the un-used appartment that she had claimed as her quarters, that had nothing in it but her backpack, a blanket and a old sofa.
She shivered as she shut the creaking door, lay down on the moth-eaten couch, and wrapped herself up in the blanket.
Hearing slight thunder, she knew it was to be a long night...

Elie walked over to the window after hearing slight thunder. She sighed as she saw rain drops and closed her windows afterwards. She always felt sad when it was raining for reasons she couldn't explain. She jumped to her bed and closed her eyes, but couldn't manage to sleep for she sensed another presence in the room. She ignored what she was feeling and left her mind blank, and soon she was asleep, again dreaming of others' memories.

Skye returned to her apartment as the thunder began. She shivered and got herself ready for bed. If there was one thing she was really scared of, it was thunder storms. As she curled up under the covers, she did her best not to remember...not to think about what had happened that fearful day, that day her destiny had been decided...

Closing her eyes, Skye willed herself to sleep.

The next day was still dismal.
The skies, however, weren't pouring, but still were a murky color-A sign that it would rain once more.
Illusion sighed as she tore off thr blanket, and, leaping to the shower (The only thing not ripped and tattered or broken), she quickly took a shower under the hot water, then, lept out and changed itno her clothes, and at long last started to brush her teeth.

felling a drop of rain on is shoulder right when shard whent inside, (cuse the sun was rising.)he said "yes, rain, it will be dark to day i can finolly see all the rush in a city at day!" running up the bilding shard jummped on to the ruff looking down at the shreet with the rain poring down."so this is what the city is like dirring the day. but i sher do wish i could see it in the bright of the day" sighing shard jummped from ruff to ruff heading to a place he seen in a dream. the teen tower.

Skye woke up the next morning, and went through her morning routine. She took a shower, got dressed, and dried her long hair before pulling it into its usual ponytail. She applied some light makeup to her eyes, and gathered her books.

The walk to school was short and sweet. She sprinted the whole way, never loosing her breath. She had been "blessed" with exceptional endurance and strength.

"Blessed..." she muttered bitterly. The "blessing" had wreaked fear upon her classmates at her old school. She hoped very much that anything of that magnitude would never happen to her again.

She rounded another corner at top speed, and found herself in front of her high school. She walked in and went to her first class, feeling much less cheerful since it was algebra II.

Finishing up her own mourning routine, the villianess lept out of her 'home' and ran down the fire escape, eyes glowing black as she worked to restore her illusion-making powers, as making the sword the other day had taken quite a bit out of her.

Sweeping some hair out of her eyes, she proceeded out of the allyway, onto the streets once more.

Berii woke up the next morning and rushed to the bathroom for she woke up late. She took a quick shower then dressed. She grabbed her backpack and locked her house, not bothering to eat breakfast.

She ran to her school and to where her first class was, hoping she won't get scolded. She loved her school...mainly because her clasmates doesn't tease her and she wouldn't want to risk getting in trouble.

I finally got out of the forest and I saw jump city. I looked over it manniecly (sp?) the titans wont stand a chance. *plots evily* I flew over to titan tower and kicked a window. It was the main rooms window. the alarm set off and I got ready for the titans. Robin mysteriously came out of nowhere and nailed me with his iron staff. I fell to the bottem of the tower. I was down for a few minutes getting blasted by all of their long range attacks. I froze each of them in time and flew up back to where I was. I unfroze time and I teleported behind robin and kicked him out of the tower. I warped away to a mountain.

OOC: Wow, I can't believe this thread missed my attention for so long, it'll take me a while to catch up with what's happened so far...

Name: Hircine (pronounced here-seen)
Age: 15
Description: In human form, he has light green eyes, and short and spiked grey (Yes, grey) hair. His "costume" will be similar to what you see in my sig, the black greatcoat with the metal shoulder-things. In his other form, see the attachment, only without the blood.
Powers/Gadgets: The ability to transform into a werewolf at will, which has unsurpassed physical ability. In his human form, he weilds a magical spear that allows him to make other people into "were-creatures".
History: None right now, but he might explain it later.
Side: No side, but eventually he will join the Titans, but has a taste for chaos, and a rancid sense of humor, which doesn't really make him seem like a hero.
Personality:Just your simple guy, but enjoys chaos, and has a REALLY foul sense of humor.

OOC: Is it too late? becasue I've been on vacation for a LONG time... if I can still join, here's my form:

Name: Eclipse
Age:13
Description: Pretty much Goth, only her skin is pale white.
Powers/ Gadgets: Can morph into dinosaurs (I will try to use the more popular ones) and a midnight black dragon.
History: If you know, she'll kill you
Side: Pure Dark, works alone, but with a bit of convinsing, she may join the titans. Make that a LOT of convincing, she doesn't listin to anyone.
Personality: Many think that she is a soulless murder, but it takes a srong-willed person to get through to the real her, that no one has ever seen. However, pretty much if you know her name, she'll decide you know too much and kill you.

OOC: hey hey! ft is back! yay ^_^ *glomp*

Ic:I warped back to jump city and decided to cause more havoc. I off the antenna to one of the dcience tower thingys. The titans had that on radar so they got to the science tower immeadietly (sp).

OOC:anyone ever notice that in the show that robin almost never gets hit, and when he does, he always catches his ground? It is so annoying. But the other titans get mauled. ya know what I mean?

OOC: yes, you guys can still join. I assume that you all read the rules...?

Yeah, it's a bit annoying when he does that... Then again, he has no super powers, but is trained in like karate and gymnastics...
IC:
Her eyes went back to normal (Much to her relief, as she could barely see), and then sauntered down the sidewalk, not noticing the minor havoc, wishing that the girl, Skye, hadn't stopped her the other day... It was a bit too early to steal a gem, now.

OOC: thanks. and you have a point, if Robin did get hit, it'd be game over for him.

IC: In a quiet, dark area of town, the flapping of leathery wings betrayed a presence. a full grown Pteranodon, a bit larger than most. that was an advantage in my morphing. when I morphed, I morphed female dinosaurs/reptiles, and in almost all thier species, the females were bigger and more powerful than the males. with a couple flaps, I had gotten into the air and was looking for an area to strike...

OOC: Yeah, my point exactally... When the others get hit, since they have powers, it doesn't really affect them as much, I reckon...

IC:
"Darn it." She said to herself quietly, kicking at the ground.
Skye was nice and all, and it was quite a change from having a enemy, but, she knew that they were on opposing sides, so, soon, Skye would most likely turn out to be a person against her thievery...

Illusion whacked herself on the side of her head for her acts, which at least she thought were fully idiotic.

I noticed a large, popular jewelry store below, and remembering that I had heard quite a few things about the security, landed on the building. I mentally scanned through what i had heard about this place. from what I knew, this place was full of thermal scanners, I needed to be cold blooded. I also knew there was little else to worry about, other than some security cameras. I flapped to the ground, and after demorphing to human, focused on a large prehistoric carnivore known as Postosuchus(pic in attatchment). becasue I was now cold-blooded, i was able to eisaly go past the scanners. when I got to the glass cases, i knew I had to act fast, or I'd be slammed by the titans. I reared onto my back legs, and used my heavy skull to shatter the glass. instantly, the alarm rang. I collected all the jewels in my mouth, and got out the door. Instantly, I met up with the Titans. I opened my mouth slightly, revealing the jewels, and also stating a threat. if they went for the jewels, they had huge carnivirous teeth to deal wiht. it seemed like a stand-off...

Skye finished up her morning classes, and took her usual spot outside for lunch, away from everyone else. Her mood had sunk lower that morning, after dealing with some odd stares and remarks from her classmates about her anti-socialness.

With a small, forced smile, she munched on the salad she had made for herself, and kept her eyes down on the picnic table. She didn't want any trouble today.
