    Found out the awesomeness that was Shiny Gold on youtube and just had to check it out. Thought it would be rude not to introduce myself so here I am.

    I'm from New Zealand (10 points if you know where that is). I've been a huge Pokemon fan over the years but like others, have grown out of it. I've always enjoyed all the Pokemon games on GB and played each gen. Crystal/Gold/Silver is by far my favourite version. 16 gyms beats all so I just had to check it out with the new graphics. I can't wait until Heartgold/SoulSilver comes out.

    I didn't enjoy the Diamond/Pearl version and IMO, the new pokemon really suck. I miss the days when there was only 151 pokemon and there were so many rumours that seemed like everyone in school was talking about, such as

    How to get Mew/that truck
    Blue pikachu
    Staying on the SS Anne
    Missingno

    Those were the good times when the internet was still in its infancy.


    So I guess thats it. Looking forward to contributing around the forums
     
    I bet you close to half our members joined because of Shiny Gold. xD Or at the very least, some awesome hacks that are nearly just as popular. & I remember good ol' days of Pokemon well.. especially all of the hype the Pikablu rumor caused. >_>

    I can't even begin to describe how much time I spent trying to get that friggin' truck to move so I could attain my precious Mew. XD; Too bad that little glitch to really catch the illusive little cat wasn't known about until a few years later. :|

    Welcome to the boards, Beserker. I think you'll find that a lot of members around here are looking forward to the release of the remakes. The second generation was pretty darn awesome after all. ^^

    Hope you'll decide to stick around for a bit.
