Hello, as you guys can tell I've just signed up to the forums. I've been playing Pokemon since Generation I, and as a child, my friends and I would use the Missing No. glitch to get all the Rare Candies and Masterballs we wanted!

I thoroughly enjoyed Gen II, at one point owning all three Gen II games, but when Gen III rolled out, I was in High School, and I didn't want to be bullied for liking Pokemon at that age, so I stopped playing Pokemon for many years because of that.

But last year HeartGold and SoulSilver came out, and since I had recently got a Nintendo DS, I decided to pick up a copy of SoulSilver, and ever since then I've been catching up on what I have been missing out on. As of yesterday I now own all three Generation IV games, and I cannot wait for Black and White to come out.

My hobbies outside of Pokemon, include drawing, watching anime, reading books, surfing the internet and playing other video games. My particular favourites are Mass Effect and Final Fantasy. I'm a big fan of high fantasy novels, such as David Eddings' Belgariad and Trudi Canavan's Black Magician Trilogy.

I'm also a big fan of LittleKuriboh and Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series.

I think that's all of it, I'm pleased to meet you all!

Well, hey there Mister Lynn! 8D
And welcome to PokeCommunity, every PokeFans paradise~ <3
There is a lot to do here if you are a fan of the games. c:
I actually recommend checking out the ROM hacking section, that is very fun!! :D

Well, we have one thing in common, Missingno totally ruined my Pokemon gaming in childhood, too. XD Everything was so easier with level 100 Pokemon!!
And as for now, I could care leeesssss what people think about me playing Pokemon, mmmmmmmmkay~ I played all throughout High School AND I WILL DIE PLAYING. XD I am very proud to be a Pokemon Nut~ Though it isn't something I would put on my resime. >>
But anyways, glad you fell back into Pokemon! ;D
It is always nice to have new friends here, hope you enjoy your stay! <3333

Welcome Lynnth. I also used the glitch to get Rare Candies. I also caught the Missingo once. It was intresting.

I'm sorry you quit Pokemon, during my high school years I still chose to play Pokemon but hide it from my peers. Only one of my good friends, besides family, knew about it. Pokemon is weird, in elementry and middle its awesome if you play Pokemon. However when you get to high school you are shuned for playing it. Then its awesome if you play it in college.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy PC and I hope to see you around. Please swing by the Community Rules and the FAQs.

    Hello, Lynnth! Welcome to PC!

You pretty much had the same story as I did when I was in high school. I didn't want to be bullied because I played Pokemon, so I kept it as a hidden interest. I'm in college now and I have friends who also love Pokemon, so there is no reason for me to hide it anymore. It's like reliving those years as a child again.

    Missingno = best glitch evar.

Anyways, make sure you read the rules, and most importantly, HAVE FUN. See ya around!

Thank you for all the welcomes! It's good to know that more people had fun with the Missing No glitch, and to know that someone even caught it! I Rare Candied mine, and it evolved into a level 1 Kangaskhan. Awesome.

I've made sure to read the rules before posting. Nothing more embarrassing than by unintentionally breaking the rules of a forum.

I'm not a programmer, but I have played a couple of ROM hacks (Troll and Tentaquil versions if you wanted to know)

Well I'll be around, I might check out the FAQ's, and refresh my memory on the rules.

    Welcome to PC!

I started off with Blue, and I know my brother utilized the Missingno glitch, but after seeing how it messed up his Hall of Fame and other stuff, I decided against doing it myself. However, I never really took a break from Pokemon, though I never did play the games openly in school (partly because of wanting to be cool, but more so because my school would confiscate Game Boys on sight). I've actually begun to lose interest in Pokemon as of late... just a bit, and I'm not too terribly excited about B/W either.

If you're into anime, check out our Japanese Entertainment sub-forum; it's where I hang out a lot.

Once again, welcome to PC and please take the time to explore all that we have on the site. And most importantly, have fun!
