Well, about my opinion of all the Pokémon franchise:
The anime, my favorite season is the first.
The manga (Pokémon Special), i like it a lot.
The videogames, i like the 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation.
I guess i'm of the old school :)

Why hello there, Ace! It's nice to meet you and let me personally welcome you to the PokeCommunity! It is one of the most awesome Pokemon forums on the net! I must agree with you, though... I'm mostly the old-school type of member since I cherish the great times in the past. :) Here at PC, you can talk about anything Pokemon, even the old times. Take a trip down memory lane and discuss about the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations at the General Pokemon Gaming Discussions. And not to mention, we also have a separate Manga section located at Pokemon General. :)

There's so much more to talk about...even more than just Pokemon, so I'll just let you go out and explore what PC has to offer! :) Just be sure you read the community rules before you jump in...and if you have any questions, Hiidoran and I are here to help! Enjoy it here, okay? :)

Hi there! Glad to have another fan of the manga on board, we could always use more of those :) Hope you post a bit in there and stir up some more discussion!

By the way your name is pretty cool...I love when people use punctuation that way, this is one of the few sites on the internet that gives you free rein on usernames and it's great when people use them to their full potential. Megan already gave you all the links that you'll probably need, but I would encourage you to also look around everywhere else because the best parts of PC are sometimes not even related to Pokemon ;) Have fun!
