5th Gen "Grimsley, I challenge you...first!"

Hope everyone remembers to discuss the elite four in general in the discussion thread for them!

Anyways, the order I did was Marshal, then Shauntal...then Grimsley, then Caitlin, because she was the hardest and I wanted to avoid her. :(

Well, I went in thinking, oh I'll battle Caitlin because her pokemon look the easiest, and I like how her room is set up. Well I went in and she destroyed me. I went to face Shauntal who I swept with Excadrill/Stoutland. I then went to Grimsley who I tried sweeping with my Conkeldurr, but it didn't go as planned, and I had some how pulled it off with Samurott. When I got in to Marshall I sent in my level 43 Conkeldurr on Throh and went +6 bulk up, because my Conkeldurr received <30 damage per hit. I swept with Wake up Slap/Dynamic Punch(which it learned in victory road), and then somehow Caitlin's pokemon were so much more easier the second time around. :D

tl;dr Shauntal>Grimsely>Marshall>Caitlin.

I always have some variation to each challenge, haha. So it's usually never the same.

The one that gave me the hardest time was Marshal because either Unfezant is Stone Edge'd and I had to fight the rest of his team the hard way (my Musharna was in storage because I had a rotational team) or my Musharna gets killed somehow (and my Unfezant was in storage). The others were pretty easy. C:

I did the ones I thought would be the hardest first. The order was Grimsley, Caitlin, Shuntal, Marshal.

Well the fight type leadur wuz ze easiest tew beat sense I had a Gothitelle and a Chandelure.

The dark type leadur came nexr cuz I had a level 66 Embroar.

Then psychic and ze nghost... which wuz ze hardest.

I battled them in order from left to right. Caitlin was the hardest one to beat, and Marshal was the easiest one to beat of any Elite 4 member that has ever existed. My Archeops used Acrobatics to 1-hit-KO through his team.

I always just went left to right...
Shauntel, Grimsley, Caitlin, and lastly, Marshal.

Out of them all, the first time, I had more trouble with Marshal, followed by Shauntel, the other two... Were both OHKO on every single pokemon.

Marshal because of his Stone Edge hax (they always seem to hit), and his Sawk's Sturdy ability, which always meant he would hit with Stone Edge, then full restore, followed by a second, and then it would finally go down...

Shauntel because I did not think Cofagrius was such a special wall, and with a toxic and protect screwed my Zoroark's attack order up a bit, the rest were rather easy though.

In the order of battles:

1st playtrough: Grimsley (TOO easy) -> Marshall (VERY hard) -> Shauntal (pretty easy) -> Caitlin (in the middle of hard and easy).

2nd playtrough: Grimsley (a little hard, I had no Fighting-type :cer_no:) -> Shauntal (easy) -> Marshall (easy, thanks to Reuniclus) -> Caitlin (hard, but Gothitelle only. Damn its (lovely:cer_love:) base 95 Defense and 110 Sp. Defense and my Eelektross' non-STAB Crunch :pink_pissed:)

My current and third (and last for a a while) playtrough
Caitlin -> Shauntal -> Marshall -> Grimsley

I don't fight them in any specific order, and I'd have to say the most challenging for me was......Either Caitlin or Shauntal. I did not have any ghost types OR dark types, and half of Caitlin's team has a secondary type resistant against Heracross's megahorn(Sigilyph, metagross, bronzong).

Grimsley was fairly easy as a simple brick break spam did the trick.

I did it in this order;
- Marshal
- Caitlin
- Shauntal
- Grimsley

I did it like this mainly because of the pokemon I had with me at the time. I saved Grimsley for last because I had no fighting or bug type moves to help me >.>

Grimsley was the hardest for me because of that.

Grimsley, Marshall, Shauntal then Caitlin.

Basically, most of my strong team members pounded Grimsley while using Exp share for my Zoroark to get stronger. Then the same for Marshall. The hardest was Caitlin, but I was really lucky and had to only have one go at the Elite Four even though two of my pokemon were really under leveled. 43 & 44 while the rest were 52 & 53. I still can't believe Zoroark beat all of Caitlin's pokémon at such a lower level like that. o.o It was intense and I was so happy I won.

I did it in no particular order. I'm starting from the member I think will be the hardest to beat. Caitlin, is the first one I have to defeat because her Sigyliph. Surprisingly, Shauntal and Grimsley offer more challenge than her. While Marshall owned pretty badly with my Reuniclus.

I just did them in order from left to right. I guess I don't have much imagination in that regard.

As for who I found hardest, definitely Marshall. The only type advantage I had over him was with my Swoobat, which got taken out pretty quickly by Stone Edge. Then his STAB moves were super-effective against half my team. :/ Caitlin on the other hand was a piece of cake, Krookodile just swept the whole team without breaking a sweat.

I started with Shauntal, then moved on to Grimsley followed by Caitlin and then Marshal.
The Elite Four member I found most difficult was Marshal.

i went psychic, ghost, dark, fighting... no threat until i got to the fighting person xD

My strategy had no logical order to it. I do not remember their names, so I will list what types I fought instead. First was Ghost, then Fighting, then Psychic, then Dark. The hardest was Psychic for me, oddly enough. I originally thought that Dark would be the hardest for me. The easiest was, by far, Fighting.
