    Well, after being here for about 4 weeks, I've gotten an idea for a new game: pokemon: Legend of Dragon. Well actually, since I'm letting thethethethe use the name Legend of Dragon, the new name is.................................................................. Ground Dasher! It revolves around the johto, kanto, and sinnoh. The plot goes as follows:


    It's about a young boy/girl who grows up in Blackthorn City as a member of it's dragon clan. However, his/her family is always strict with them becoming a dragon master, and the hero becomes tired of it and wants to become a regular trainer. So one night, he/she decides to sneak out of their house with 3 pokeballs that each have pokemon in them and heads to a lake at route 45 (south of Blackthorn). At first things seem ok, when all of a sudden, a wild pokemon jumps up from hiding and attacks the hero! Just when he/she thinks it's over, they pull out one of the pokemon and uses it to drive off the wild pokemon. Afterwards, the hero tries to sneak back to bed, but is caught by an elderly man, who turns out to be a dragon master. At first the hero thinks he/she is doomed, but the elder smiles, and tells the hero that he saw them use the pokemon in the pokeball, and that he is impressed with how they drove off the pokemon with skill. Then, the elder tells the hero's parents of the hero's prowress with pokemon. Eventually, the parents understand, and decide to let the hero go off on a journey. The hero, now happy, sets off on their journey across the different regions.

    Well I was gonna suprise you, but I'm thinking of using charmander, horsea, and either dratini or bagon. This thread is simply for plot ideas though.

    And as a prelude, expects screenshots hopefully within the next 2 days in the new thread. Anyways, this thread is pretty much closed.

    EDIT-I might need a few extras weeks as I'm still trying to find a way to put screenshots up. Please excuse the talk of screenshots in a plot/storyline, but I just had to put this out there.
    However, while I'm still apologizing for talking hack, I REALLY need a scripter as I can't exactly do a whole big project on my own. I'll come to you once I have my first release, but it would be nice if someone volunteered ;)

    An evolution that requires an item and trade to evolve rather than level? That could make an interesting plotline...

    Perhaps the player obtains the item earlier or something or has to lend his/her starter to someone...

    Actually, I really just plan to level up seadra to kingdra with experience and bagon->shelgon->salamence earlier.(yes, i'm using Bagon) But your "interesting plotline" does give me an idea... XD

    This is a hack dude come on this is if you are making games not hacking!
     
    So it is a hack put it unde rthe hack section not game development.
     
    Well I can't exactly put it under the hack section without screenshots, and I'm still trying to find a way to put them up, so this is the only real way to put this up. Again, this is just an overview of what goes on in the storyline.
