Group Discussion Question/Suggestion...

    Why is Group Discussion in Other Chat and not in Mixed Community Groups? It seems to fit there more, seeing OC is already filled with other subforums and also because of the discription for MCG fits it better. Just curious....

    Also, I was thinking that maybe group threads could be invisible untill you are accepted in it, just for group privacy and whatnot, including spoilers/ideas/surprises and such. It would just seem like a good idea to me.
     
    It wouldn't really fit with MCG, it'd just be another club style are which would be pointless there. I like the other idea though.
     
    Hmm... that seems to be a good idea and you are right about OC having many subforums. After all, it is called Mixed Community Groups. And it's pretty hard to make the threads invisible and all since admins only have the power to make the threads invisible and not all regular member leaders of groups have the power to make the thread visible to group members. So, I don't know about the invisible part.
     
    I don't think you can make the threads invisible to some groups. o_o You could do it if they were subforums, but that would be very difficult and time-consuming.

    The group forum is kinda pointless period, seeing as it's basically just an exact clone of Other Clubs.

    I think Chibi Chan was right on the money with that suggestion.

    EDIT: After talking with Jorge, it seems that the Groups allows a couple options that other clubs don't, meaning they're not an exact clone....go figure

    It'd be an easy invis thread thing if we only had one group per person. I mean it wouldn't be the thread but more like the whole forum. If you get into the Sony group then you'll be able to see all the threads in that forum (even other threads)...
