Question: Group Memberships?

    Ever since I became a supporter, I noticed a new section in your User CP called: Group Membership.

    What are they? All I get is this message:
    [PokeCommunity.com] Group Memberships?

    Do you have to get invited to something or, what? :\
     
    I dunno why yours won't show, but usergroups are what part of the forum you are.

    So, see that I'm a moderator and also a supporter? My Group Membership page shows what groups I'm in. I have both of those and the option to pick which I want to be, I believe. I have to check it out, but yeah. XD So... I'm not sure about why yours won't show your Tier supporter group, but that's basically what they are.

    I hope I explained that well enough. ;;

    EDIT: See? I can swap what I am. Even though I don't think I can do this. >_>; But yeah. That's basically what MINE lets me do. Not sure about just a donator or regular member.
     
    every member is in a usergroup, the majority are in the normal members group, and due to permissions, they cannot see other groups. I guess the we as supporters can see other groups, however we lack the necessary permissions to join any other groups.
    (the usergroups usually consist of each rank of staff and supporters)
     
    It does make sense, but, hmm...
    That is strange...
    I wonder if any other supporters are having this problem. :\
     
    It might be the fact that you don't have access to your previous Membership.

    You went from a basic member to a supporter.

    So, now that you're a supporter, there's no need for you to be in the Member group. So, if you had been left in the Member group, you could swap that color on and off. Understand?
     
    Now this kind of confuses me. :\
    Sorry, only 3 days into being a supporter. :P
    I just know the features tier 3 get from the supporter thread, the group membership is new. O.o
     
    Well, like I said, you'd have to be a member of BOTH usergroups.

    I.E., say a Staff Admin adds himself/herself to the moderator, super moderator, assistant admin AND supporter groups. That Staff Admin could then switch to any colored name he wants because he's a part of that group.

    If you wanted to get two colored names, for example, you'd have to be a part of the supporter AND basic member groups to swap between the two.

    What I'm really confused about, is how to get into the user groups. :\
    Or, can I not get into them? :\
     
    You can't get into them. You can only be a supporter in your tier. Understand?

    I have both because I supported and also I am a moderator.
     
    Okay, it depends on my tier.
    So, if I was a moderator, THEN I can get into groups?
     
    If you GOT modded, then you could ask to be in both groups and then do what I'm doing.

    And no, it doesn't depend on your tier. It depends on if you're staff, I suppose. You'd be able to have both if you chose to as a moderator.
