Grow your own?

    So for the past two years I've been growing my own veg! I'm super excited for February as this sparks the beginning of the growing season. Does anyone else grow and what are you planning on growing this year? For me it's carrots, onions, garlic, bell peppers (never done before) jalapeño's ( never done before) purple sprouting broccoli...I only have a balcony in my apartment but it's served me well!
     
    I know my mom used to grow herbs, don't know if she does anymore, but we've still got a WIP avocado tree and mango tree.
     
    i usually grow herbs, but i'll be trying tomatoes this year!
     
    i'm growing green onions from store-bought in water. apparently you can do that! they grow for like ever? its weird. and you can grow half a head of romaine if you chop it 2in from the base and leave it in water? whoaa man

    i've never really gardened before but I plan to do like. two pepper plants and a tomato plant this year? starting small, especially since they have to be potted because a) we're moving halfway through summer and b) our yard is a disaster anyway

    You can grow a pineapple from the cutting of the stop of another pineapple....it takes forever though! But it blew my mind....
