Grunts are Stupid

    All right, have you noticed that all of the different team's grunts are not only insanely weak when you battle them, but also incredibly stupid. One example I remember was in r/b/y/fr/lg the idiot who dropped the key right next to him.

    So what do you think?
     
    I find grunts to have a complete lack of intelligence. Another example are the grunts trying to get the honey in DPPt.

    Oh, that one's funny. Before the battle, he says "Who has the lift key?", and I'm like "You!" So that's stupid. Also, in Sapphire, the one Aqua Grunt at the Museum gives you a TM! Why would any bad guy do that?!
     
    Lawlz, I remember that idiot, he pretty much said "I hate you so much, that I'm going to give you a TM".

    I'm guessing a grunt wrote that sign in front of the sleeping room in the team galactic building "Don't get into a bed if someone already occupies it".

    I laugh at their logic.
     
    I get a little annoyed seeing at how pathetic they are in most cases. I'd expect a world-wide crime organization to have better minions =/ Oh well, that's a 3+ age game for ya'.
     
    Most NPC's are stupid in pokemon games-
    "Hey I should use my pikachu's quick attack on the main characters water type pokemon"

    Agreed or you would have to battle Archie/Maxie/Cyrus without knowing it. XD

    The grunts were actually meant to be weak to weaken you, ever notices how they battle you like a tentacool while surfing? They're there to slow you down to give their boss sometime to awaken the sleeping legendary Pokemon. But for some reason, you manage to get there before they awaken them. <.<
     
    Grunts annoy me really bad. They are so stupid and drop everything. They also always get in you're way.
     
    Ha. I love battling Grunts. Gets the levels of your Pokemon up pretty high. Only good reason for them. I laugh when you go into the Veilstone City Galactic HQ Building and one of the grunts says 'Join when you're older!' and I just think, you need me to join now. You're people are terrible at battling.
     
    They're comic relief; it's why they're all lazily done, with the same 2-3 Pokemon between the entirety of the team's Grunts.

    Even that super-special-awesome one in G/S/C had a level 34 GOLLLLBAT. Super. Special. Fackin' Awesome. :\
     
    Well, yeah... isn't that the point, for the grunts to hurt the criminal teams a LOT more than they helped them?
     
    The team who recruit them are plain stupid also, they hired the non-intellectual people to gain them. Also the grunts are a bunch of lunatics, like dropping the Magma Emblem at Mt Pyre.
     
    Its what you get when you go cheap :P

    All of the criminal organisations are cheapstakes :P
     
    Yeah I think it's also something as a precaution for the little little kiddies playing the game. If the bad guys are smart, strong, and powerful, why the heck wouldn't you want to be a bad guy, too?

    'Course that's not all of it, but I think it has something to do with it.
     
    They are really stupid.

    Only reason that their there is for us to gain levels off of them.
