    This has been more controversial than Beatles so there should definately be a thread considering Beatles: Rock Band does already.

    I was going to miss this out for so long and recently it seems Nirvana have just rescued the game for me. At first glance, the setlist looked bad but I can cope.

    I still believe it shouldn't have came this soon though.

    Your thoughts?
     
    i havent played it or looked at the song list yet.
    but if its better than world tour, than im probably going to get it.
    i mean dont get me wrong world tour was an okay game.
    but it didn't even compare to gh3!
     
    I just looked at the song list and i'm glad to see some bands that I never thought i'd see on Guitar Hero (Vampire Weekend,The Gorillaz).It's interesting to see Rammstein on there....Will I get it?Yeah.It seems pretty good.
     
    Setlist looks awful.

    Most of it is screaming metal rubbish...argh.

    I thought when I saw the names of bands such as Sonic Youth, I thought, awesome.

    But they have picked the worst songs from the great bands.

    ARGH.

    No GH game will top GH3 in songlist though, IMO.
     
    I think that estan masomenos these 85 topics of the guitar hero 5, though it is to come out mas:D. Equal a fantastic game.
     
    Setlist is garbage, avatar play is tacky; game is boring. It'll never be Rock Band :)
     
    IMO the series has gone downhill since GH3. I was debating on getting this game, but I've heard nothing but negativity about it so I think I'll be passing on this.
     
    My thoughts are that they better not start making 20 different versions of Guitar Hero and ruin the brand. Metallica, Beatles, what's next? Every other band in sight?

    Beatles isn't Guitar hero. And there are already like 20 different guitar heroes.

    On an unrelated note, Beatles rockband is the experience the "Band only" guitar heroes" wish they could be.

    Bit late to think that.

    I thought the setlist was awful but I looked at it again last night and it's miles ahead of world tour, with some DLC it'll be a long lasting game.

    GH3 will always be the best for me because they'll never go back to the simplicity it had.
     
    I haven't really looked at the list for the songs, but like the other GH in my opinion the songs hasn't been that good. I realized this when they put the Monsoon or whatever the name of the song in GH last year

    You guys really think Guitar Hero has gotten that bad? I think this one was MILES ahead of World Tour, that one sucked.

    The song selection is more diverse now, the charting has gotten better for drums if you're playing on a Rock Band drumset, and I haven't tried out the Party Play mode yet, but the next time I have a huge gathering, it's guarenteed to make things easier.

    I know this won't be as good as GH3, but Neversoft is damn sure moving in the right direction with this one.
