Do you guys think they'll reveal anything about the gyms in the next CoroCoro? Or maybe in one of the episodes of Pokemon Sunday before the release?

Dento's gym look really different in the anime, but what gym doesn't do that. :3
 
How has everyone come to the conclusion that Dento will have a Grass, Water and Fire type? I've seen absolutely nothing to support this so far.

- By the Pokemon he owns in anime.
- His dressing style, 90% of Gym Leaders' outfit are related to their type.
- His Gym's interior designs.

To me that would just be thinking to much into it. Dark-type Pokémon aren't really expressed as a negative in the games nor the anime. :\ If that were the case, then I'm sure they would have been received differently as far as prospective goes. So, to me I wouldn't mind if the 8th Gym Leader was a Dark-type or not. If anything, you can think of it as a way of knocking down the negative at the end of the road to only reach your final destination where the real light is. But again, maybe that's just thinking too much into it.

Dento's gym looks different in the games too though. They don't look like traditional gyms anymore. Or at least I think they're different if I'm looking at the right image as inside of his gym looks like it's within the previously seen castle.

As for Dento's typing. Based on his gym badge, I can see it possibly being a Fire/Water/Grass gym - Yanappu being his star Pokémon though.

There is a honeycomb like/sticky honeys you can go through Gym... Huge chance that is Bug Type... Maybe that is Aloe's Gym? Somehow it doesn't match with Dento's Gym(the interior)...

Poison, Dragon, Dark, Ground... These types doesn't have lotta Gym(zero in Dark-type's case), from the previous four regions... I hope at least one of them'll have a Gym...

The honeycomb thing was actually a smith or forge and its in the top left part of the map the opposite end of where you start in the game so it being 2nd gym is really unlikely...Dark being the 8th gym is just as bad as Giovanni and its not the end of the game... No one beats the 8th gym leader and turns off the game thinking everything is over...

As we said before we think it will be like Grass, Grass/Fire and Grass/Water all with Solarbeam (His TM reward I believe according to websites) and so the badge reflects that as well...

Last time I checked, he has green hair and is dressed as a waitor. This presents him as a Fire. Water Grass type trainer how?

I haven't seen the inside of his Gym though. Anyone got a picture?

Yeah and I'm the troll lol Dento's badge is basely Green, Red and Blue spheres in a line... the Gym is asking questions about typing "Grass is weak to ___. Water or Fire?" also the Green hair would represent Grass the food he serves as Fire and the drink he would serve as Water if you want to look at it like that o.o

Uh, I wasn't trolling? I honestly can't see why people have assumed that. Mind you, I haven't actually seen his badge yet. Would anyone care to post a picture of the badge/the Gym interior?

As for the badge, I don't think I've seen it. I hope he's just grass, even with the badge. D:

I watched the gameplay video... The honeycomb place had the BGMof Gym, infact the sound is strikingly similar to Hg/Ss's Gym BGM... In the history of Pokemon only Lorelei's Room in RBY(and its remakes) used that theme... But I agree your point that the honeycome place can not be the second Gym...

Actually the picture of his Gym are quite blurry/dark... But you could check the pages in this thread.. I believe there's a oone or two laying here somewhere... :\

I found this on some serebii forum... havent seen it anywhere else. Looks like a gym to me! Or some elite cave, like cerulean cave, and there's some pokemon in it. But, it appears in a route... It would be cool if a couple gym were out of the way in a mountain or forest or on a route rather than always in a city. I also see bel in the bottom...

I think Dento is Grass & Aloe is Steel, think about maybe Aloe is supposed to sound like Alloy (kind of a stretch but Dento does have Yanapuu a grass type.)

Actually there are buildings East of that cave so it could be in a town for all we know, though that pic doesn't show the buildings but there are some :)

Looks like a Route more than a city or town :\ BTW I saw Belle's hat :P Speaking of Belle, for some reason I don;t think she's gonna be a strong rival... She's too cute to be strong... It's obvious that Cheren's stronger... What I meant is, at least make Belle more stronger, at least stronger that your average out there...

Well I think they are going for Belle being the Clumsy type of Rival due to her Battle sprite movements :P
It's a town or a route with Houses in it which isn't so far fetch as we have had those before...
 
You guys are moving away from the topic of gym leaders and gyms. Stay on-topic.
 
Mhmm but you started discussing Belle, plus you guys mentioned whether the location was a route or not. Stick to the discussion about gyms/gym leaders otherwise there will be consequences.
 
Well the Honeycomb and that Cave seem to me like Gyms along with the Roller coaster and the one with the color circle titles so that would be 4 plus Aloe and Dento making six if we are right, so we have yet to see too more :)
