Question: Hack Groups

How come there are groups for Rom Hackers but there is no RPG Maker groups ect (Or that i can see)?

No, i know about that. I mean groups that help eachother.
Such as a group of people working on multiple games ect.

Well, the Games Showcase sub-forum in that section has games that people are working on; if thats what you mean.

For as long as I can remember there have always been a lot more hackers wanting to work as official 'Teams' than people in the Game Development section.

I see no problem with one being created, seeing as the Hacks section already has one.
But the question is, is it really necessary? They've managed without one so far just fine. :/

I just think it would be nice to have a group where people socialise, develop their games, and get help off eachother instead of going it alone and relying to the Help thread when you could have someone else who deals with the side you arent very stong on.

If you think it would be so nice, why don't you just create your own social group? Social groups allow socialization, get help and bounce ideas off eachother without having to worry about various aspects that they do in threads, and they allow game development (which is already a designated board already) to an extent.
