I've been looking around this forum for a while...

So yeah, I have played all the games, I recently got myself a Game Boy Color so I'm playing those games I used to play.

Good memories :D

It'd be nice to meet some people with the same interest as me :)

Ah I love finding my old yellow GB colour and having a go on the game XD I remember playing Pokémon Yellow solidly when it came out, just because it matched the Gameboy's colour!

Welcome! I once watched part of a walkthrough for Pokémon Yellow. This particular commentator used an effective attack against the first Gym's first Pokémon: the Burp attack; it was super-effective. I'm still laughing at that comment, which someone left. I did like that you could turn around and see what your sla-...travelling companion thought of you, and at one point the commentator's did eventually start getting bouncy and showing hearts in the close-up. I look forward to seeing some of these on SS, which I have still to play.

NEway, if you want to discuss Yellow, head over to this forum and join in the discussion regarding them. I'm surprised people still hunt them down, but what do I know? I guess I wait for the day another special Pikachu Edition is released on the 3DS. I'd love for a player and his Pikachu to arrive in Unova and start exploring since it's not native there.

Also check out the Emulation Zone for more games to play that are hacks of some GBA games. Some are pretty good!

Oh, and watch out for Hikari. She'll sell your information secretly for fame. Or somesuch. Good business idea, I think.

Hey dude! Welcome to the community!

It's awesome playing those games. I'm a bit of a nostalgia nut myself so I get the urge to play through the really old games myself, but I can never quite bring myself to do it lol. Ever since the new games came out with the fancy new graphics I haven't been able to play the older ones again - which really sucks because they were awesome and such a huge part of my childhood. Though it's probably for the best, if I were to play the old ones it would probably result in me curled up in the corner of my bedroom, rocking back and forth hugging my knees and sobbing "why can't I be a kid again? Whyyyyyy" and that's just not an attractive look for anyone :P

I hope to see you around though! I've been neglecting the Pokemon-related forums a bit lately so I might make an effort to venture my way back up again and see what's happening. Hopefully I'll see you around!. VM me if you wanna chat!

Wow u obtained a GBC I still remember that thing lol. I guess the nostalgia is too much to handle. LOL

I've been playing since 3rd Gen, so I was a late bloomer. But I definitely recommend the General Pokemon Gaming Discussions area of the forum.
