Hard now to power up

Since the last major update with the new pokemon, I am now finding it extremely hard to power up my existing good pokemon as they are now not spawning, in fact if an Eevee spawns it is almost a rareity.

Instead just loads of Swinub, Ledyba, Hoothoot, Sentret, even not many pidgies and rats now. Hence I have some good pokemone with high CP but cannot power them up any more, looks like the pokedex is not going to fill up to find all those vacant existing spots.

It has become a little boring now as the spawning does not now seem to be even, if you could ever call it that before.

Anyone else finding this?

Are you trying to maximize the CP of all of your Pokemon? What level are you on?

Your level affects your Pokemon's CP level.

Spoiler:

For example, my Scyther is already at max CP, but if you level up...you will be able to power it up once or twice depending on the stardust and candy that you have with the Pokemon. You may need to travel a little further if you are not seeing as much Pokemon in your area, assuming you are in a rural area (it's usually common).

Restarting/uninstalling-reinstalling the app usually helps as well.

Basically I am not seeing the pokemon to get the candy anymore to power up due to this last update, before the update they were plentiful now they are not.

It's harder if you live in the suburbs or a rural area, like me.

Its killed the game for me not seen any of the originals spawn at all I used to see lots of them oddish, evee. Psyduck, well all of them, so I assume they have stopped them spawning. Bummer all my good gym pokemon are stagment now no powering them up I would do that to revive them.

If that is the case probably not play so much bit pointless to have to start from scratch with the new ones.

Shame they killed the game like that.
