4th Gen Hardest part of Platinum

    Write down the hardest part of Pokemon Platinum so far.

    So far, the grass Gym Leader (Eterna city?)
     
    So far? I have trouble taking down wild Bibarel with most of my Pokemon (barring the two I don't want to train and the one that is only on my team for Cut - yes that means you, Budew :/)

    It's not like Bronzor can't do it, but it takes so long because its Sp.ATK is so low >_<
    Psyduck and Aipom get rolled. Aipom has a chance, but that requires lucky Fury Swipes XD
     
    so far for me there has been no hard part except preparing for the gyms and making sure you can take them in one try.
     
    The only hard thing for me was the 4th Gym. The leader was easy it was just the punching bags and stuff trying to get to him. By the time I was in Eterna City my twig evolved to Torterra and it pwnd everything.
    I've been playing for eight hours and I just got my 7th badge.
     
    My Torterra has been taking them all down.(The gym leaders.) The pokemon that I'm temporarily using (Psyduck, Bibarel, Buneary) have all been taken down. I just got a Porygon though, that seems to do quite well.

    Which Gym are you in?

    My team consist of Torterra, the beast. Empoleon, the sidekick, and togepi, the healer, the others are just for HMs such as Machop and Staravia.
     
    I just got my 5th badge. I'm moving slowly but surely. I plan on using Torterra as a substitute for one of the legendary pokemon in Pearl so I can battle online. I'm also going to use Tauros and Porygon to sub for the other two legendaries on my team. I will have some alternate pokemon too to switch out if necessary. :D
     
    I just prized whatever badge you get from Wake (I refuse to call him Crasher...). So, the hardest part so far would probably be putting the game down.
     
    Hardest part has to be getting damn used to the fact that everyone can now put a scratch on you and make a dent in the road.
     
    I'm on the ghost gym and Fantina. I don't have any good Pokemon for countering Ghosts yet, the best I have is Confusion spamming the Gastly/Haunter/Gengars and Rock Throw against the Drifloon/Driftblum. Nothing against those pesky Misdreavus/Mismagius, though. Might end up relying on Togetic's Metronome. Hope he doesn't Explosion again...
     
    is it me or is this game way harder then diamond/pearl?

    my challenges are/were:
    Eterna gym
    great marsh
    Cyrus @ celestic temple
    Catching pokemon in general
    wild pokemon battles ( a little more tougher then im used too)

    I agree with you. But it took me about 5 minutes, since I kept using Bublebeam/Hydro Pump on all his Pokemon.
     
    Cyrus for sure. (I am not that far, but I used to have the JPN version.) Also, the frontier obviously.
     
    Hardest thing for me was catching Giratina, I finally got annoyed and used my master ball.
     
    Hardest part so far... hmmm I am going to say crash the 5th gym i believe and btw I just beat the 7th gym wasn't so hard with my lvl 45 inferape now i think im just going to level up the rest of my team to 40 or 45 and move on to the galactic base.
     
    hey did all of yous catch your gligars and porygons in the game or did you trade them through
