What place other than the farm do you spend the most time?

The dig site, Blue Bar(;D), and...uhh...just running around. xD

Which Harvest Moon game is your favorite? Why?

Probably Magical Melody, because it has the best variety of marrigable characters out of all the HM games I've played.

Well, the only other HM games I've played are the Wonderful Lifes, DS Cute, and Save the Homelands, so yes, even the screwed up Gray is better than some of the other choices I've had. XD

Blue Bar and Romana's Villa. Just because those two places are more interesting than anywhere else in town. >; I also sometimes go to the dig site and Vesta's house.
 
One time, like almost everyone in Forget Valley walked into the Blue Bar, so I like...was about to go inside, and then someone popped out.

Okay, now I'll go in...

Someone pops out.

Now...

POP.

Then I finally go in there...and all that's left is like...Griffin and Muffy, and they don't even count. I thought I was going to spark an event, but nooooo. :<

I've noticed that and realized the game chooses random routines for people everyday. But certain Blue Bar people wont spend time around each other for some reason. Most often if Murrey or Galen walks inside, a bunch of people will walk out. As for an event, the only event based on who is in the bar is the "Griffin Play Guitar Event" which is based on whether or not Rock is in the bar. Besides the most irritating is when someone walks in, then walks out immediately afterword, then the rest of the bar does as well (one time even Muffy and Griffin left!).

Oh, another question: Do the Blue Bar drinks actually have any effect on the player?
 
They rejuvenate the player, Griffin will stop you from getting drunk off your butt. But some characters do drink until they are pass tipsy. If you befriend Grant, if you talk to him in the bar (and he's had enough) he'll admit that Samantha abuses him and thats he drinks to get away from it, and Galen drinks to get over Nina's death in Ch. 1, but after a while slowly decreases it. Otherwise, there is no effect from the Blue Bar's drinks.


Well, new topic again: If you could miss and match the spouses and their kids, which ones would you choose?
For me it would be: Celia or Nami with Celia's son or Muffy's son. Nami's son bothers me and Muffy is just plain irritating.

I'd say... Gustafa with Marlin's child. Gustafa's kid creeps me out beyond belief. I don't think the kid has pupils... D:
 
I've been away for the last few days, and hardly anything's happened. Well, I guess I'll just rant about my latest HM experience. Finally, Nami returned from wherever she has been travelling too. I was worried about not seeing her again. Now my son seems to be drifting his interests away from the ones Im encouraging him in (Athletic and Ranching). I need to fix that. Heard Griffin play guitar for the first time in forever. He's good at country music. I also found the most amazing legit way to make money (not the Ruby Spice trick). I have a Banana S Tree next to my house and i made some seeds by accident so I sold them to Van, OMG, they were worth like $600 a seed! Now I really found the jackpot. I'm gonna have that milking room before the 3rd Chapter!

I didn't know Griffin played the guitar. When does he do it, normally?
 
Its a rare event Saryka. I myself I have played through the game twice and have only seen him play it 3 times. The odds are higher if Rock has just entered the Blue Bar, but it also depends on who is in there, Muffy cannot be present, and I think you can only have one other guest there. He plays some very good country music (i guess that fits his look). BTW, Saryka, what is that language on your status it seems very familiar...
 
It's actually amazing how this game works. Like, certain events only occur when certain people are around, and all the deal with building relationships with the townspeople. For a game that looks very simplistic on the surface, it's quite detailed once you really get into it.

Oh, and sirboulevard, it's Russian. :3 It's a song title by the Russian band t.A.T.u.
 
That's why I love Harvest Moon. Its really one of those games where its the gameplay that matters more than the graphics (which, by being poorer, allow for more features to be added). I just wish they didnt mess up the dialog so much. Seriously, whoever did the translating must've not cared at all. Seriously, "The Tress of the forest wait for Spring?" How do you mess up the word trees? Other than that it's really really a great series.
 
Hey, havent been here in a while. so what do you guys think of the Wii Harvest moon games? I might try one..
 
Woah. I was hoping one of these groups came up. I have got both game, "A Wonderful Life" and "Another Wonderful Life". It's brilliant. My cow just gave birth aswell. o.O

I have no reason to. Just marry Nami. Life is perfect from there. :D
