Has Another Forum Ever Been WAY too strict

Some of those adoptable sites are just plain harsh.....

I'm not pointing fingers at any sites, but I came here from PP, Poképlushies. The moderators and administrators were somewhat strict.

Also, they frighten new members. It just seems that only 'veterans' post there.

@Erebus: Are you kidding me? I'm 16...one more year and I would have to stay away from the forums. I have to post more than 10 times a week. Otherwise I go crazy >.<;;;

BF. LOL, Nica's Forum. Anyways, I haven't been on a strict forum before, mainly because I don't really bash on people directly. XD

Sppf does have a lot of restictions, eps on the wi-fi and game bit. Though with a lot og noobs they have thier place sometimes. The sig limits are a bit WTF andhard to understand at times.

I doubt they ban you if you say anything "slightly negative", but if you're on a Twilight forum to bash it then you're just trolling, and probably deserve to be banned. =x

Oh, yeah? Well, I made one thread saying that Edward isn't the 'Hottest thing ever', I listed some positives as well, but the thread was deleted, and my account was banned.

No, I didn't stick around long enough to notice any strictness at Bulbagarden ;) And I haven't been a regular at many other large forums.

This is probably the most strict and neat forum I'm on. And I've never found it hard to abide by the rules here, nor have I been treated badly.

nope i've never been on a strict forum. PC is very laid back and its fine here. but i dont like Serebii.... they banned me because i gave "constructed critisism".... :-/

667 Dark Avenue, a forum for people interested in The Series of Unfortunate Events Books has very strict rules- each post should be meaningful- otherwise you get banned. Just saying something simple like "Yes I agree" would probably result in a warning by a mod. Also, anything that is less than well spoken English, with nearly perfect grammar, is reprehensible.

I gotta say though, it is one hell of a messageboard. All the, say, less articulate people can't really post, so most of it is very high quality stuff. Very excellent debates, discussions, etc in the off topic sections, and book and movie reviews too. In the sections about the series- I'm not sure if youre familiar with it but it it very mysterious and is open to many theories and interpretation- there are well crafted theories about the storyline.

So yeah, Dark Avenue was strict as hell but i think it was for the better. I like PC, the laid back nature, where everyone comes more to have a good time than to have an intense philosophical discussion.

Not strict but ridiculous. You cant join NeoGaf if you dont have a pay for email. I mean what the hell!
