Has the animation been getting better?

Is it just more or does the animation look prettier in XY?

Do you like the subtle changes to the animation that pokemon has been making over the years?
I must admit that it's taken me a while to really take not of the changes myself.

It's basically a case of art evolution. There's also consideration that animation in general has become better over the years and that's why we're now getting all these better graphics.

So far XYZ has had a lot of moments lately where the art budget has been higher. Usually it's only seconds at a time, it's not constantly amazing, but over all it is definitely getting better. Which is cool to see, cause for years the OP animation had all the budget and the episodes themselves were kinda lacking.
