4th Gen Hasn't Kanto had Enough??

    Technically, hg/ss's Kanto will be remade from fr/lg, which iz remade from g/s/c, remade from r/b/y, kinda redone a bit from r/g/b. Hasn't Kanto had enough already??
     
    Oh no, Kanto hasn't had enough. It is the original land and should be given more attention for it doesn't get much from the Anime, so why not from the games?

    I'm still trying to comprehend why people even put its inclusion into question in the first place.

    Now that there's enough evidence to shut people up, I'm happy.

    I'm not even going to call that one video "Confirmation", as it was pretty much a given Kanto was going to be in the game from the beginning.

    Now we have people like you complaining about it's inclusion.

    I take it you know they were talking on Pokémon Sunday (an official source of information, not 'one video') about Kanto specifically? It's not evidence, it's proof. ._.
     
    I'm not complaining, I'm just saying that it's been in alot of games. Do they really need five different Kantos?? Also, I don't care about the plot, it's the actual region that's being overused, the plot's the only good thing about it. Another thing, I don't give a sh*t about the anime, they screwed it up just like the games (excluding remakes, they're cool). And besides, did they give alot to the Orange Islands?? Hoenn?? Shinno's still going so I can't say anything 'bout that. I'm just happy that they gave Johto like, five seasons in the anime.

    If you re-read my post more carefully, I NEVER doubted Kanto being included. I was complaining about all those who had wanted evidence that it was going to be in HG/SS before it was "Confirmed".

    The only Proof I needed was the fact that they were remaking Gold and Silver.

    How can you consider that video "proof" if the fact that Kanto was going to be there so completely OBVIOUS all along?

    Going by polls and threads from this forum, Hoenn is the most disliked/hated region and it's only been out since 2003. It's not time for a remake of generation III. To answer the main point of this thread, I'm agreeing with the rest. No, it hasn't had enough. Revamps in every generation for Kanto aren't bad. It's fun to see how much it's changed, and when Kanto is a part of GSC, which is what's being remade, then of course it's going to be in there. Can't help that the original region gets the most make overs, can we?
     
    Saying that you've had enough of Kanto is like saying you've had enough of air. People new to the games need to see the original region, no matter which rendition.

    The only reason why Kanto was made in every gen was because of FrLg and HGSS. If RBY and GSC were compatible w/ RSE, then it wouldn't have been in every gen.

    Johto is my fav reigon because of its Pokemon and tunes.
     
    Kanto should never be forgotten, its the original land of pokemon that got most of us obsessed. I think its good that Kanto has made a cameo in each generation of games.
     
    Well, Kanto has had a lot, but I have enjoyed it.
    I always love returning to FR/LG to see it.

    And since Kanto will be changed for HG/SS like the changes in G/S/C.

    No, we can never have enough of Kanto. The region is classic and so are it's pokemon Every generation needs Kanto! They should stop making new pokemon and just focus on the regions that are there already. Another Kanto game! That would be nice.

    Still time to put serious face on. Kanto is a classic region and really it has been used a lot but they are not making Kanto for the heck of it. Each time Kanto is redone it hs to be done for one reason or another. As we saw, the old 2nd generation games couldn't be used. Now if in next generation they do something like they did back when going from GBC to GBA then they will have to remake it. Still at this rate we may end up getting an RSE remake which I don't mind. As long as we don't take steps backwards and get ride of the night/day feature that was introduced.

    Bull sh*t. Also, fr/lg were not nescessarie to get Kanto pokemon, they co
    .ulda just put Kanto pokemon in Emerald when it came out. And on another note, how come they didn't have all the other regions in r/s/e and d/p/pt?? It makes sense to do it. Also, SilverSmeargle, when did we bring Gen. 3 remakes into this?? Where the hell'd that come from??
