Haunter Masters GFX Thread

This is not a request thread, this is a showcase, so i can learn and get better, then i will make a request thread :)
we will start with some early work

and for some newer stuff(made today :) )

and this sig i made out of boredom/for a sig battle

I use Photshop CS2 for those who are wondering
And the Mewtwo and Registeel sigs are usable for everyone, just give me credit :p

Some nice stuff, it looks like you improved too ^^ Well, the first couple of sets...the borders, don't bevel and embross them. It makes them look bad and it doesn't look professional.

The first one for the text, you should change the color so you can blend the text into the banner so it looks better and it doesn't stand out, but is still readable. Try using smaller font too so it doesn't overlap your pic on the right and make sure that you don't leave any empty spots in the banner so it doesn't look so plain. You don't want a highly decorated banner on one side and nothing on the other. If you are just going to have your name on the banner and no other text, make it smaller and add some brush effects to the empty side. However, nice blending with the Groudon. 8/10

The text...again with the bevel and embross. It looks really bad. I see you added an outer glow to it as well. If you want another color for your text so it doesn't look so plain, use the Stroke and add a 1 pixel stroke around the text to make it look better. The Lugia doesn't look too blended in either ;x If you don't always want your pic blended in, try using some effects on it. For example, the Blur techniques are always good to use. Motion blur, Radial blur, Gausian blur, all of those give the banner nice effects. Read tutorials to start finding out how to use them if you don't know already. 7.5/10

The first newest one, very nice. I like it. The text...somehow...kills it, no offense. I see you were trying to use a text that will fit with the "theme" of the banner, but don't use text like that that overdoes it. It may look better if you use another color text though that blends in with the banner, or if you use purple right off the bat and set the blending option to "screen." If you can't read it like that, set it to Overlay and add a stroke like I mentioned before. The small text at the bottom that was just "extra info," very smart. But don't you agree that no one would really bother to read the small text after seeing thr gigantic freaky text. The border is nice though. YAY! You got out of the habit of bevel and embrossing! *claps* 9/10

The Mewtwo one rocks dude! Where did you get the render? Erm..*cough* Back to C&C...The top text really matches...but somehow it doesn't. Maybe...try blending it and seeing if the results are better or worse? Again, smart use of the small text. The render is perfect, you really don't need to blend it in or it may look bad, but you could use some Blurs in it like the other one. 9.5/10

Great job overall! You also improved and that's the best thing! :3

Okay, first off, I love your newer ones, Especially the haunter ones, it's blended in nicely and the colours suit it well along with the text, Your second set to me is good but the text doesn't suit it, it'd be better in a lighter colour if you were to use that text again on a similar theme.

The mewtwo signature is great, but it'd look better if there was a tad bit more purple in there or any light colours, apart from all that well done, they look great ^^

It's a nice background, but sorry to say, you can't always use purple...XD; You should have used like maybe a brown color or something to match with her. I dunno who she is, but I guess it's your decision ^^; I can see the scanlines you used *pokes scanlines* Good job on lowering the opacity. It makes it look much more professional. I can't really say much about this banner, but the text...again...is in the way of the render. Try making it smaller or stretching the text around to fill up more space. You don't have to have the text go straight and horizontal like that. 8/10

thanx, but i cant find any good fonts, and i love purple, and no prob on the render, now about the fonts, i go to dafont, but i cant find any good ones

i just got 641 fonts and i made a koooool Registeel siggy, like the Mewtwo one, it is usable to all
