And yea i've come close to death a number of times. I figured it would be best expressed in a list. =]

- when i was 11 i cracked my skull open when I was skateboarding and fell when my wheel got stuck in railing. face first in the pavement ftw!

- in second grade i put a peice of metal in my nose and practically bleed my brains out

- one time i got hit in the head with a baseball and had to go to the hospital for head trauma

- when i was 13 i broke 2 of my left ribs and the doctor said that the bones almost peiced one of my lungs o_O

- i almost drowned in the pool when i was 9

- when i was 5 my mom said i ran in the street and almost got run over by a car

there are a few more i think but im not sure if you would consider them close to death experiences.

Same here. I was at Kings island and it was tooooo crowded and no one could see or hear me cry for help. and i was under for about 20 seconds and have swallowed alot of water. then my mom found me and saved me. I was like 5 when that happened -^_^-
 
My phone came close to death once, but me?
I don't think so. Sure, I've lost a bit of air in the swimming pool every now and then, but I've never drowned or anything of the sort.
Plus, due to where I live, it's not dangerous for me to go in the road to get my ball. :3
 
I was in a minor car accident - that's about it! not really death ahha
 
oh yeah i rember now I had yellow kidneys and i was in a incibator when i was a baby. that must be life thretaning

I like going further out into the ocean, but not too far. I got out far enough for the big waves. I body surfed back to shore. I didn't make it all the way. And all of a sudden, these waves come and keep pulling me back underwater. ;;
I'd be like inches away from reaching the surface, and then, another wave comes, and drags me back under. It did this to me three or four times, and I almost drowned!
 
I surprised this hasn't turned into a whine-fest of every emo or attention seeking child that is on the forum claiming that they almost killed themself and blah, blah, blah. Touche to honesty people.
 
When I Was At The Beach About 3 Years Ago, I Uh, Wanted To Go Crabbing, So I Ran, And Tripped Into Some Quicksand, And No One Could Hear Me......
 
YES, i was in a bath and i felt asleep, when i woke up it was so blurry because of the hot bath in the bathroom and no air at all, i had no energy left because i couldn't breath so i was hanging for my life on the floor.. i finally manage to get up and go out of the bathroom.
 
Uh... Uh... During surgery when I was a kid, my blood pressure dropped and I had to have a transfusion. o: Does that count?

Otherwise I'll go with the popular 'almost hit by a car' thing. Silly boy racers and their silly handbrake turns.
 
I don't know if this counts, but when I was younger I thought I had meningitis, and the doctors did too. I was scared. But it turns out I didn't, and I had just gotten a rash and was ill.

I've almost been ran over about ten times, I'm not exaggerating.
I did get hit by a car, but it was stopping, so I only staggered backwards slightly.

i was about 5 and was on holiday,went swimming and went to the deep end and nealy drowned,someone saved me:D
and a couple of weeks ago i fell off a tree and only got winded but couldve vroke my back or worse:(
 
Ah. I forgot about two other times. Much like you fango pango, I almost drown and fell out of a very tall tree.

When I was in Ibiza I was pushed into the pool, I was 5 and I couldn't swim all that well.

When I was 10 I climbed a tree in the park next to my house, but the branches were wet and slightly slippy, and my shoes didn't have a very good grip either, needless to say, I fell from the top and bruised my arm and back, with a few little cuts from the branches.
 
At least twice. Perhaps.

Once when I was a baby, though I forgot what the reason was.

Second time was when I tried swimming in a swimming pool without an inner tube (I was still pretty little), I would've drowned if some adult at the party I attended (a CHILDHOOD FRIEND'S party, thank you very much) hadn't dived in and saved me. And I didn't even know why he did it then XD I thought I was doing just fine
 
A tree almost fell on me when I was seven. while I was walking home from my after school program since my house was right near the program, I usually would walk home and it was rainning and thundering so hard that a tree fell and it almost fell on me

Well I was riding a quad and I hit the gas all the way because I like to go really fast. So I wasn't paying attention at all because I was enjoying the breeze :) and the quad was heading for a tree. But I heard my dad screaming so I looked up and saw the tree about 3 feet away. So I slammed the brakes and the tip of the quad just bumped the tree. Anywho if i didn't my body would of slammed into the tree. I don't think if would of died, but it would of hurt like hell.... hope that counts XD
