yeah that was sad, but i didn't cry. I saw the movie once and i went to see it again in the movies and there were all these little kids crying when he died, and from the back, i was like "He comes back! i swear too god he comes back!"

I can't believe that Full Moon hasn't been mentioned yet... Even the manga had me crying a river, and that has never happened with any other series that I've read before. The big plot twist towards the end is so sad. ;~;

In the anime, when Mitsuki finally makes it to America, only to find out that Eichi and his family had been killed in a car wreck. It's absolutely heartbreaking, especially when she goes off to find his grave and Eternal Snow starts playing in the background.

I haven't actually seen that episode yet--only a couple of clips by accident--but when I do, I really hope that my mom doesn't walk in. Because she'll probably think I need to see a shrink or something, since I'll be bawling my head off. XD;

The manga is also sad, but I don't think that it's as believable. For one thing, Eichi was killed in a plane crash, and... if you're being realistic, you'll know that there just isn't a big chance of that happening to someone. It's one of the safest ways to travel. Mitsuki also knew about his death even before she met Takuto and Meroko, and was hiding her true feelings the entire time, and that just didn't have as big of an effect on me as seeing her genuine reaction in the anime.

Both are still sad, though, and it does make things more interesting to have two versions of the story.

The ending to the fifth Pokemon movie also made me cry, when Latios died. The music certainly didn't help! I'm sure that I'll also be doing the same when I watch the final episode of Romeo x Juliet... that is, if the ending stays true to the original one.

Well I have to admit I used to cry once or twice over some sad anime series in the past (can't recall name but was looooooong time ago) but nowadays I don't really find myself crying over some event in an anime series...sure some still make me sad, but I just don't cry over them.
