I've had detention about four or five times but I've never skipped. I've skipped school though.

we dont have detention, we have referrals, if you manage to piss off the teachers enough they give you a referral and send you to the office and you have to talk to the counselor or principal or vice principal o.O if you get enough referrals you get suspended for a certain amount of days =b *ish glad hes never gotten one* =3
 
Hmm Once as far as i can remember.

It was like last week sometime i was riding my chair like a horse when my cooking teacher called me out for detention at lunch.So i went there at lunch and waited for about 10mins but she didn't come so i left.Naughty me.Xd
 
I had a few DT's when I was in year 7 (infact, I had alot of them), I skipped them all though, unless a teacher waited for me near my class room towards the end of the lesson!!!
 
I've only ever gotten one detention, but it wasn't even my fault. >.< But, I didn't want to get into even more trouble, so of course I went. XD
 
Yeah, but not purposely. I forgot. At that time, a month or two ago, I had tons of detentions/write ups. So, I could've gotten an extra detention for forgetting, but the principal gave me a break, and just made me redo the detention, and wrote me up for skipping, but with no consequence, so that's cool. Since then, I have been staying out of trouble *applause*.
 
me- popular freshass. i mean dun get me wrong, i'm a straight A student, but im also incredbily fresh...

i never skip a detention in my school... too scared... if i do, i get a saturday detention... and if i skip that... i get suspended.... so i'd rather not have any of that. i usually get em cus of talking back to my math teacher and mocking him

The only time I get dententions, is for being late too many times.... but its just for being 20 seconds later or something >>

And to answer the question... yes.... yes I do when I get them XD.
 
We don't have detentions here, (although I did have one back in Year 5 at England) we get beaten with a stick on the spot. So I guess it would be like once or twice a year depending on the teacher.
 
i have not had a detention throughout my secondary years. I am a good girl XD
I am in year 9 now and still havent had one. I hardly get in trouble (though there are times where teachers have told me to shut up)
We are the worst class at our school XD

Well, I go to a pretty scirct school, so of course there would be no way how I could avoid getting an detention. You see, I hadn't done a piece of homework last year... so I had detention... I waited 10 minutes for the teacher to show up, but she never came so I walked off. Does that include as skipping an detention? lol.
 
Yeah I have. I got 2 more for skipping it though....-_-
 
I've been to detention and saturday sch00l once in my life. I was given them in 7th grade. (I could never forget those horrible moments -_-) I served both of them, and never ever made it to my 2nd one. o.o (I learned my lesson x_X)
