4th Gen Heart gold not working for no$gba 2.6a

Okay, I have found a patch that gives you the english translation plus freezing and black screen fixes, but I was wondering where I could get a patch that does all of this without the english translations. Every time I try to load a plain heart gold rom into no$gba 2.6a with no patches, it says the rom crashed when I click on it in the game select in the menu. I really want to play the japanese one because the english translated one feels weird playing.

in emulation settings a few say none the one on the left toward the bottom change it to .5 or 1.5 i forget then reset
