Because gif is the optomized format for images with transparent backgrounds as well as drawn or graphical images in general. jpg is optomized for photos.

But it was mainly for the transparency; not everyone on this forum has the white background that most of us see, some users (ckn for example) use a different skin and template and a white background would look stupid over his navy background for instance.
 
no i have 2 more gyms in the diamond game too go but ill probally be finished and on wifi in about 7 hrs mabye...Sorry but my wifi dosent get put on till then

yeah you did nicely well I made a few foolish mistakes with my gyrados and dusknoir and a little with my electrivire(i shouldve swaped gyrados for it to get a speed bost)

All ubers are banned, so yes that includes Darkrai and Arceus.

You can start with any gym.

Lastly, Wi-fi battles are level set at either 50 or 100 so it doesn't matter what level your Pokemon is at.
