thats what i said i guess u could taunt it but i would never use electrode

i know not perfect for aero but still a decent lead it has access to taunt and light screen plus it can always use magnet rise to get rid of its only weakness

tru well since leingodf uzu and omega arent on i guess ill start ev training some pokes for greene
edit: if u r still on leingodf i challenge u

Thing is I have an Anti-lead Electrode (though Modest) on my UU team, so I know what to expect and I would likely just Rock Slide off the bat and kill it in one go.

yep exactly man i got to go to school tomorro ev training will take forever

I suppose I might as well open, 'cause there's no sign of Omega for me to test out my team so I might as well get going and see what happens.

Yea well I lost obviously. There was nothing I could do, his whole team countered mine. It is rather annoying to be honest, I'm not saying he is a bad battler or anything 'cause he is really good, but when someone knows your team and you don't know there's that's what is going to happen, and as I said back in the day when I lost to crimson, Bullet Punch against a rock gym is just an easy way to win. 4-0 anyway, did better than ckn and nate but meh, didn't enjoy it honestly. Makes me regret posting my gym matches on youtube.

ehh i packed my time full of priority moves lol i had 4 priority moves total lol

i got lucky by getting an ice punch on mence on the switch in i didnt expect that at all lol

Why did you do it then 'cause Regirock isn't weak to Ice and you were using EQ on him??

BTW, what were the last two members of your team??

last two members of my team shedninja (i was stupid and didnt even think of sandstorm lol) and nidoking

and about ice punch somethings ill use different moves so my oppenents dont say switch in a flying type when they think im going to eq so atleast ill get a hit instead of no hit

That pretty much settles that a misclick cost me the game really so, since the second Giga Drain would have killed Metagross, and Swampert and Nidoking (not counting Shedinja over the Sandstorm) would not have been able to beat Cradily, Regirock, and Aerodactyl.

ehh i dont really know about nidoking he had sucker punch and life orb and cradily was at maybe 20% health and could have used eq on regirock and sucker punch on aero
but i agree on the swampert if he wasnt faster

Cradily can stall up health and a Sucker Punch even with Life Orb on a Regirock with 40% health wouldn't kill it. Plus if Cradily had to stay in longer I would have kept using Recover. I think I could have won it but that misclick really did it and the fact that I needed to over-over-predict every move.

i know but my nidoking has stabbed earthquake and it easily outspeeds regirock with 269 speed to kill regirock plus swampert could have done quite a bit of damage to cradily before it got a giga drain in

Fair enough. And I want to ask the league community here a question, that is leaders and challengers alike, and I want objective answers. After this battle and looking back at the videos of the 5 other losses my gym has had, 50% of my losses were due to priority moves. To be more specific, nearly every priority in the game is supper effective against rock, e.g. Aqua Jet, Vacuum Wave, Mach Punch, Bullet Punch, etc. The only three I can think of that aren't are Fake Out, Sucker Punch, and Quick Attack (but who uses that right). So my question is, would it be fair for me to ban priority moves from my gym for both me and the challenger???

Note that when I say priority moves, I am refering specifically to attack moves.

So hit me guys.

Well, my Hitmontop knows fake-out and sucker punch... and admittedly he knows quick attack as well. JK. I don't think that priority moves should be banned. They are considerably weak, barring Scizor and Hitmontop w/ Technician. Not to mention said priority moves should only be super-effective to 4 pokemon, leaving 2 pokes the ability to switch-in and wall them. Why, a pokemon like, say, Ludicolo can handle such moves quite nicely. He is also terrible fun using :) I would just suggest getting some different pokemon. Of course, that is just my opinion and if priority moves are being spammed at your gym than that is terribly unfair, considering your type.

I edited that out after he told me his last two Pokemon. But you are still right in that spamming priority moves which are most super effective against rock at a rock gym is unfair but what can you do. Guess it is back to the old team, though in that last battle the old team would have done worse since he knew that team even better. I'm hoping to train a new POkemon anyway that could be very handy, but I need an IV battle first and nobody is replying so whoever gets to me first I will do it with.

P.S. He had BP Metagross with the coverage so that it couldn't really be walled. You send in an electric, steel or fire and he uses Earthquake. And most waters couldn't stand an EQ from a max attack Metagross either (not sure if it had T-punch as I only saw three of its moves). The only real counter would have been another faster Metagross which in the long run would not be beneficial for my team.

Looks like Crimson's got your back ;)

P.S. It sounds like Ludicolo would have done swimmingly there lol... Mine has 252 in defense though. A rain dance Surf w/ mystic water would dent Metagross pretty nice.
