HeartGold/SoulSilver - Travel Journal

My progress over the last couple of days:
-Started in Newbark.
-Started with Cyndaquil.
-Met Oak at Mr Pokemon's house and got Pokedex.
-Did all the tutorial stuff.
-Captured Bellsprout and Hoothoot as team members.
-Battled everyone on the way to Violet.
-Cleared Sprout Tower.
-Found a Helix Fossil at the Ruins of Alph.
-Beat Falkner (swept with Cyndaquil)
-Got the Togepi Egg and met a Kimono Girl.
-Headed south, battling the trainers. (Cyndquil evolved here!!!)
-Went through Union Cave (hooray for annoying random encounters!)
-Reached Azalea.
-Beat Executive Proton at Slowpoke Well.
-Took on Bugsy (Quilava and Hoothoot fainted and I actually won with Bellsprout)
-Lost twice to my rival and won on the third attempt.
-After 30 minutes i finally captured the two Farfetch'd in Ilex Forest.
-Met another Kimono Girl and left the forest,
-Met up with Lyra the stalker at the day care.
-Got to Goldenrod City and got a bike and a radio card.
-Went on a shopping spree at the deaprtment store.
-Spent about an hour at the Voltorb Flip game until I had 2100 coins
-Used my coins to buy a Dratini, my fourth team member!
-Trained my Dratini to Level 18, the same as the rest of my team.

You do know you don't need the national dex to trade from Pt or D/P right?

I'm not complaining but I think I'm going to train them a little bit more before I beat another kanto gym leader.
 
Elite four time!

Will
I led with my Ampharos, which made quick work of Will's two Xatu and Slowbro.
Ninetales made quick work of Jynx and Exeggutor.

Koga
I led with Ninetales, which made quick work of Venomoth, Fortress, and Ariados.
Hypno was poisoned by Muk and about to lose when a critical hit beat Muk. Koga's Crobat annahilated Hypno but was easily defeated by Mamoswine.

Bruno
Hitmontop and Hitmonchan were quickly defeated by Ninetales, which in turn was defeated by Hitmonchan.
Onix was decimated by Feraligatr's waterfall, which was defeated by Machamp.
Hypno then proceeded to beat Machamp and Hitmonchan.

Karen
Umbreon was very hard compared to the rest of Karen's pokémon, it was defeated thanks to luck and my Ampharos.
Ninetales defeated Murkrow and Gengar, Houndoom was beaten by Feraligatr's waterfall.
I used a full restore on Ampharos which defeated Murkrow with discharge.

Next time: Champion Lance
 
Today I caught Zapdos with an Ultra Ball, it took a couple of tries but wasn't that bad.

I need to train for Red.
 
Red is a turd monkey seriously the level jump between him and blue is enormous (twss) though i like how you walk up a mountain peak and he's looking over the edge.... i was thinking maybe he is suicidal

You should have tried the elite 4 before challenging Red, because after you have all the Kanto badges, the elite 4 becomes stronger.
 
Defeated the Saffron gym leader with:
Typhlosion lv. 50
Ho-oh lv. 50
Gyarados lv. 48
Dragonair lv. 44

I'm still trying to level up my pokemon, but I've gotten lazy -_-
But yay, now I have 10 badges :)
 
i got owned by Palmer... Its pissy but it happens :/
I'm gunna beat the trainers I find to lv up my pokemon until they're all lv60 and above before getting an 11th badge.

Yes I do. I waited, though, because my Pt pokemon was stronger before.
 
This afternoon I brought my Togepi at the Salon and Daisy for a massage and when I leveled it up, I was surprised it evolved considering I wasn't sure if it had enough happiness.

So I battle Bugsy and sweep his team with my Gliscor. With a Swords Dance or two, it was surely capable of taking out his entire team with a single Fire Fang. After that, I called him again for battle and save him and the rest of the gym leaders there who are probably waiting for eternity later. =P

I'm not gonna update much, but as I will eventually be receiving my pokemon back, I just feel I have to post my awesome team that will eventually take on Red (Spoilers as I use big pics, etc.):

I'm really proud of picking a bunch of pokemon whom I really like, that can use all of the Gen IV Hidden Machines (as Dragonite and Aerodactyl could learn Defog):

-Cut
-Fly
-Surf
-Strength
-Whirlpool
-Rock Smash
-Waterfall
-Rock Climb
-Defog
 
I ran around Goldenrod City making my Pichu happy so it would evolve. And now I have a Pikachu named Ash which knows Slam, Thunder, Thunderbolt and Volt Tackle. I will teach it Iron Tail when I get TM 23. And I have been owning a bunch of trainers with Ash.

Went to Ecruteak City and owned Rival Silver with Ash and Alakazam.

My party right now is Lv. 23 Pikachu (Ash), Lv. 24 Alakazam, Lv. 21 Sudowoodo (Woody), Lv. 21 Quilava (Kaji), Lv. 20 Geodude (Aki) and Lv. 21 Pidgeotto (Ryuzaki)
 
Alright, 10 badges, all my pokemon are lv 60 and higher. I am now ready to get 3 more badges (Misty, Erika and Janine) before I train my pokemon again :)
 
Champion Lance

Round 1: Ampharos vs Gyarados
Gyarados starts with waterfall, Ampharos fries Gyarados with one discharge.

Round 2: Feraligatr vs Charizard
Feraligatr gets Charizard's hp to the yellow zone, Lance then proceeds to use a full restore.
Charizard's air slash lands a critical hit on Feraligatr, I heal, Charizard uses another air slash, I use waterfall, OHKO.

Round 3: Mamoswine vs Dragonite
Mamoswine lands a OHKO on Dragonite with a STAB icy wind.

Round 4: Feraligatr vs Dragonite
Lance's 2nd Dragonite beats Mamoswine, Feraligatr defeats him after 3 ice fangs.

Round 5: Ninetales/Hypno vs Dragonite
Lance's final Dragonite beats Feraligatr, and Hypno.
Thanks to hypno bringing it's hp to the yellow zone, Ninetales was able to beat it.
Revived Feraligatr.

Round 6: Lugia vs Aerodactyl
Aerodactyl paralyzes Lugia, causing it to not attack 3 times in a row, gets Aerodactyl's hp to the red zone, Lance heals, Lugia gets Aerodactyl's hp to yellow before fainting from Aerodactyl's thunder fang.

Round 7: Feraligatr vs Aerodactyl
I revive two pokémon, thunder fang gets a critical hit, I heal, Aerodactyl uses aerial ace.
Feraligatr uses waterfall, cuttiing it's hp in half, Aerodactyl uses thunder fang, gets Feraligatr's hp in the red zone, I use waterfall and end the match. :)

PKMN One.
Typlosion wins against Skuntank using 2 Flamethrowers.

PKMN 2!
Mamoswine wins against Swalot using a Blizzard and Earthquake.

PKMN 3!
Mamoswine wins against Toxicroak using one Earthquake.

PKMN 4
Typlosion wins against Venomoth using a Eruption and Blaze Burn

PKMN 5
Ampharos wins against Crobat by using a Thunder.

PKMN 6
Mamoswine wins against Muk using a crit'ed Earthquake.

PKMN Trainer Anthony wins!

MY GAME FROZE ON ME AGAIN! Stupid Ds >;(

I was on my way to Lavender town, I defeated a bunch of trainers and then it froze on me -_-
Darn.
