Is Heatran worth catching?

Ok the other thread is giratina worth it is debatable.
BUT HEATRAN, is not uber, and thus should definitly be worth catching, you could get one with a great hidden power, great ivs.

Heatran is definitly worth catching as one of the best competitive legendaries in the game.

Go catch it, because who knows what a great, and valuable heatran you could get. You could get one ready for comeptitive battles, or even fabulous trade.

^^^What he said. Nothing else to it. Anyone saying its a bad poke really doesnt know what they're talking about. Good defences, great special attack, whats not to like?

Yes, Heatran is definitely worth catching. It makes a great special sweeper while Choice Scarf is attached. And pretty good defenses too, making it a very durable pokemon.

Don't forget about his flash fire ability, it's great for competitive battling. ;o

Any Pokémon is worth catching really. If you wanna complete the game properly, catching is the easiest option. Yes theres the GTS, but it doesnt feel the same if Heatran isnt 'your own'.

If your catching Pokémon purely for fights, then all are worth catching again really. Most Pokémon excel in at least one area (normally there final evolved form), and Heatran does this well. Seriously, if it was any Poké, then id say catch it, but Heatran, definitely worth the time and money.
