    Hi everyone!

    I'm new to the forums but not new to Pokemon, I've been playing since I was a little girl & distinctly remember being so excited to get LeafGreen for Christmas. I've been playing ever since!

    My boyfriend and I have a copy each of Shield/Sword so we've been enjoying exploring together, I thought it would be nice to join a forum and have more opportunity for trades & battles! c:

    A little about myself: I'm 24, originally from England but live in Scotland now, & my favourite Pokemon is Arcanine!

    It's nice to meet you, I remember getting leaf green for Christmas as well my mum even let me open it on Christmas eve.
    I hope you enjoy your time here!
    There are always lots of people looking to trade and battle.

    Hello!!! Glad you're liking the game, I beat Shield recently and am now trying to finish the dex + do some raids. Then shiny hunting. :D

    Wow!! I kind of don't want the game to end, but at the same time I'm really impatient haha. I also admire you trying to finish your dex - you have a kind of patience I don't possess! Shiny hunting sounds fun also, I'm yet to run into any shinies. At the minute I'm trying to catch a Galatian Ponyta and even that seems a chore!

    Thank you for the warm welcome!! My only plan at the moment is to complete the game, I'm not sure where I'll go from there.. hmm..
    Although I'm not new to the main concept of Pokemon, sometimes I get a bit confused/overwhelmed by the IV/build stats of Pokemon so I may try venturing into that at some point. Do you also play?

    Haha, I was confused with the EVs and IVs too. I did not buy a switch, so I haven't yet started playing Sword/Shield. But I do plan to play in the future.
